Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting December 29th 2025 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

A 'jack of all trades' from the low lands, you'll find me working on stuff ranging from the first to the forth dimension; that being music (1D), textures (2D), 3D models (3D) and 3D animations (4D). Of course my time here I'll only talk about the first, but you can talk with me about the others anytime you want.
I'm not your average guy, I'm special in a completely normal way.
In 2012, I joined a little late, I only made 9 songs, scraps and sketches of songs of absolute beginnings.
In 2014, I made sure I included my ukulele into every one of my songs, and as part of progress gauging, I set out to make the first song and the last song be the same, differing only in skill acquired over the year.
In 2016, I had a procedurally generated song composer make all my songs for me, changing only some things in the code every week. The code for the generator is here.
in 2018, I did all of the above, but better. Better songs, including a melodica, and using a different progressively generated song composer. The composer program for this year can be found here.
In 2020, I went back to a procedural generator, but this time making it directly for LMMS, meaning I would interfere if ever I felt like it needed it. It can be found here.
In 2022 we were dealing with the fallout of a huge identity shift from 2021, so the effort was fairly sporadic. It was also the year we no longer used "I", but rather "we" as we embraced our multiple personalities: Devieus (he), Spider (she) and Ebrit (it).
In 2024 we got proper access to an electric guitar, so finally pivoted to the chip metal we've always wanted to make in our heart of hearts. Also got two more personalities in the off-year (really just one, the other was already there, but finally came forth): Leega (she) and Raioh (he). In addition, during this year we got yet another: Valx (he) (also maybe a few more). We still went by Devieus.
In 2026 we got access to a MIDI keyboard. We had one before, but that was just a regular keyboard and very clunky. So composing melodies was that much easier. We made some remixes of songs from previous years.
