Neon Horse

By DESLRV on June 28, 2026 2:04 pm

This was made for a specific reason. Hopefully it works out. In the meanwhile, enjoy some cool synthwave with horse sounds.

Just what are they feeding that horse to turn it neon?! 🐎🐴🤔
Either way, cool track for a cool horse!

I'm guessing neon.
Thanks, I'm sure the horse likes it too.

It's for a VGen contest, we should start putting some content on there.

Am I going to have to be the first to call this HORSEWAVE!

Love the galloping beats.

It's all the electro vibes and suddenly it's all horses and honky tonk.

i hope this works out for everyone. i know i've overused "triumphant" as a descriptor, but that def fits this Neon Horse. nice work!

All these major chords tiptoeing around minor triads.
Missing the birds and dino, loving the rhythm recalling a galloping horse.
Nice job!

Now I need to know what this was made for!

Also, I have never heard the combination synth-wave + horses and I don't know how... but it works so well. Instead of imagining this cool guy in a car cruising down a neon-lit strip, I see a mongol horse lord passing by all these yurts on his trusted steed. But it's all still neon-lit.

Love how much you leaned into the horse rhythms with this one.

If only you joined euromeet, because now you're the second.
honky tonk break though, always nice.

nah, by all means, go ahead. Triumphant is a good thing to be.

A healthy balance for a healthy horse. No birds this week, it's all horse because that's what the song needed to be.

is it really a song about horses if the beat don't trot and gallop.

The tone totally sounds like one of those Conan era fantasy movies (this is praise). The horse effects add so much here, and the galloping drum roll is a stellar touch.

Oh yes I like galloping synth wave, the horses came to play. I'll +1 to Horsewave label, why not.
Clicking through the stream video was interesting, a peek behind the curtain.

Imagine neon Conan, that'd be so sick.
I guess to be fair that's basically He-man, but with more horse.

The more the merrier.

That's a cool disco horse. I need to play this to my daughter, she's amazed by horses and would dance in a horse disco for sure

Let me know how it went.

That horse intro I immediately triggers Knights of Cydonia in my head. Interesting composition with the synth arp and the ratched parts alternating. The upright was a bit surprising, but appreciated - fits the whole horse/saloon/western trope.

Muse was definitely a huge influence for this. They're a good band, so I don't complain.

Also, a horse walks into a bar

She was stomping in tune, but towards the end her attention shifted, maybe a long song for a toddler? But my son (5years) enjoyed it, showed me a new way of dancing where he was kicking the legs fast

That's absolutely amazing, we hardly ever get results from any field tests and this dance is worth studying.
