Hypospace Dimensions

By DESLRV on February 4, 2026 11:17 am

This is a song about a dimension traveler, entering a dimension that's just very pleasant. Birds sing, soft melodies play, and the sweet sounds of electric guitars fill the air. All is as it should.

Of course, this traveler won't stay here forever, but it's a nice moment of calm.

A remix of K48R's Hypospace (or as we like to call it, a forced collab, since setting up an actual collab seems impossible). Just me adding my usual nonsense, guitars, chips, birds. Be sure to give the original a listen and maybe put K48R into your rotation while you're at it; or remix one of their songs, they're all BY-SA.

Pretty! Those bells that pop up a little ways into the track are a neat touch. heart

It's a very nice dimension!

Really liked the plucks and the guitar. Great stuff as always.

The guitar is so good! Love this

Feeling those epic guitar vibes.  The bell plucks are an extra nice touch to stand atop the guitar.  Sweet outro!

This is making me think 80's action epic.

by now i think you know what i came for and you delivered

I love the imagery for this track.  I think we could all use some time in a peaceful little dimension filled with bird songs and electric guitars.

great vibe, love these synths!

never been so happy to go hypo heart

Thank you, it really helps the story along was the thought.

If only we can stay here forever.

Thank you, they definitely feel like a pair, the gentle giant guitar and the delicate plucks.

That's what double tracking will do for you, too.

Can it ever truly be a great place to be without the guitar vibes. So sad we have to say goodbye at the end.

That seems to be a running theme, and 80's action epic is a nice corner to be in. So much raw emotion, so free.

Everyone's here for the birds and the guitars, and we shall continue to deliver. Give the masses what they deserve.

It's so unfortunate we can't have it, but a glimpse into it, the vibes, are enough to give hope.

I don't actually know what it means, so we're just going with it being a dream reality. Anyone saying otherwise needs more whimsy.

I like the little bendy squiggly sounds. like a little cricket or something.

They just might be.

"The sweat sounds of Electric Guitar in the air" quote of the day right there. Love this song

Here for the guitar ( and of course your little birdies), well done.

thank you for letting us visit this realm, it's nice here

It's just simply the truth, let's be honest.

I don't think we'll be back here anytime soon, such is the nature of dimension traveling.

Thanks, and it just might be cake.

Birbs!
Very peaceful indeed. I love the classic synth line over the pads but under the bells.

This feels like an isolated but hopeful journey. The reverb and spatial position between parts makes me think of space travel and feel a kind of loneliness. The lovely bells have a hollow tone that amplifies that feeling for me. But the melody is so peaceful, and the guitar washes and synth brass gentle enough, that I don't think this hypospace explorer minds

It sounds like a dimension I wouldn't mind visiting.  Can't be any worse than this one at any rate.

YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THERE'S A HIPPO IN THIS SPACE?

I listened to the remix before listening to the original. That classic brassy VA synth voice makes it sound like something taken out of a 1996 video game. It was a great choice to add that on top of the atmospheric parts in the original. It sets the two tracks apart, but fits the vibe and composes well with the guitars.

Definitely birds.
It took some puzzling where to put which thing in the registers.

Perhaps they even prefer it. There's a lot of things going on in other dimensions.

I think most of us would think that.

Chipmetal was never in question, that's a given. The original just felt like it would go really well with chipmetal, so it was an easy decision really.

uplifting melodies and chord progressions. nice balance between unexpected and expected, well-trodden melody lines and chord changes.  i heard your remix before the original and tried to imagine what it might sound like – when i heard it, i was surprised indeed. some phrases in the melody reminded me of a song i've haven't heard for a very long time. i had to really think about it to remember that it was Dune's "Hand in Hand" – and when i retrieved it from my archives, i realized that i was not as similar as had imagined

Perhaps it wasn't the same song, but now at least the song has a little friend.
The progression wasn't ours, but the melodies are, and it's nice they land well.
