First End

By DESLRV on March 29, 2026 10:06 am

The end of the first quarter, and also my first WeeklyBeat (as member of the system, the 340-something streak is still alive). I don't even really have a name yet, but I got this at least. Workflow is much smoother than expected if you just don't think.

Initially it sounded a little different, but changed the thing to major key in one part and dorian in another, so it's more happy. The world needs more happy. Stop falling for the minor key propaganda, your songs are 1000% better in not minor. Also Chip metal is pretty easy and satisfying, you should all try it.

Welcome to the crew!!!
This feels super uplifting, btw, great job!
And I agree, the world does indeed need more happy. As someone who favors minor scales way significantly, I need to explore others a but more. Happy to report that my submission this week is, indeed, in a major key!!! hahahaha...

Satisfying confirmed multiple times

Happy is good.  A little minor key once in a while just to mix things up is okay, but overall I'll take something uplifting like this most of the time.

super uplifting!

Great work. If we exclude the chirps, my favorite moment is repeated a few times but example is at ~2:58 when the melody and supporting elements have been building for a bit.

Personally I still dig minor keys, but you make a good case with this track for switching to major every now and then!

Loved it ! Especially this mix between chiptune and guitar !

positive vibes felt throughout but the guitars especially help reinforce that feeling.  Dig the melody around 2:56 and the birbs confirm the happy feels smile

first end, and first beginning! welcome, and thanks for this upbeat banger heart

Misery is cheap, but then so is salt, so it'll have a place
but you definitely don't want only salt

The bridge is always a pleasant moment, as long as there's stuff it connects to

I can wholly recommend it, tho you tend to extend the chords and that works fine too

They always go together well
A mutual attraction perhaps

The vibes are awesome, the guitar won't allow it any other way
