Comfort Creature

By DESLRV on June 21, 2026 8:28 pm

This song was requested by someone else again, this week it's Asante_13, a very nice guy I don't mind calling friend. The request was "maybe something cosy?", and so that's what it became. Well over 6 minutes of cozy chipmetal.

I'm sure it can be twice as cozy and twice as long without the chipmetal, but I'm doing chipmetal, so it's cozy chipmetal.

this feels like a lullaby! nicely done nailing the "comforting" vibe!

Very chill and relaxing. Almost like an Animal Crossing song with a few metal guitars thrown in.

The birds are here to say that everything will be alright.
And it is with this track, didn't feel like 6:36, it went by quite fast.
Consider us soothed.

Thanks, everything right about comfy music.

And let's be honest, that game would be that much better for it.

They really do, they're taking it chill and they want to spread the chill vibes.

Like the baby burbing at around 3:55, really fits a lullaby. The 8-bit-ish arps near the end are a nice touch, too.

Oooh the opening chord sequence gives me springtime feels which for me is cozy feels too. Love those lil fluttering arps. cozy chipmetal 4tw! \m/

Cozy chipmetal, love it! It definitely got lullaby vibes, I'll test this next time I put my youngest daughter to sleep smile

I'm pretty sure those arps are all throughout the song, but it's nice to know it works.

Best of luck.

Yup, works smile They are so well integrated in the first third, that I initially didn't notice them separately standing out (which they are tho) more like an integral part of the whole, if that makes any sense. The usage near the end then feels a bit like closure.

Makes perfect sense, the whole is so well put together, the vibes so good, you'd need to go out of your way to dissect it.

Cozipmetal... Chipzymetal... Chippy metalcoze... Cozeptal... Hmm... Have to keep workshopping a name, cause I want more of this - whatever it's called. Anyhow, you nailed it

Cozy chipmetal should work, but I don't hate cozipmetal. Cottage metal.
