Cat in the Wind

Featuring our kitten, Paprika. Very easy to record because he meows all the time. Chopped up the recording and placed throughout the song.
This one was requested by the person mentioned last week. They're a system like us, one wanted "calming nature like a wooden windchime blowing in the breeze" and another "cat meow". So that's what we got here. Plus our usual stuff, of course. Putting the cat over the birds is just appropriate.
Unrelated to that, last week Leega found a new DAW to try. Waveform FREE (that's actually what it's called) by Tracktion. It is indeed the free version of Waveform pro where they opted for a more modular approach; use as is with honestly quite an impressive volume of features, or buy things you need, like a MIDI package to have an arpeggiator. Stuff like that.
We won't be needing any of those, so free is fine. The transition from Sonar to Waveform is honestly pretty smooth, the manual isn't trapped in 90's hell, designs are much more consistent throughout, and most of the VST I use are 64-bit anyway (since it doesn't support 32-bit). Might see where this one goes. The per-track LFOs are neat, but still not quite as well done as LMMS'.
