Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

I wasn't going to ask because I thought it was hopeless, but someone on FB said to try.
I missed the deadline. My deadbeat neighbors had a party and a 1 year old girl wandered away and got lost in the neighborhood. I was helping scour the neighborhood looking for the girl and missed the deadline. Is there a way to upload my track anyway?
(The girl was found, btw. Cops got involved. The neighbors are still obnoxious and have lousy friends.)

I was woefully unproductive in 2015. Started a bunch of tracks and didn't finish any of them. Only played 2 shows. I did work on improving my drumming skills, so there's that.
I'm going to use WB as a sort of kick-in-the-pants to force me to compose with more frequency.

Same. I don't know how it'll turn out, since my wife and I are expecting and in March there will be an infant in the house (!) Maybe sleep deprivation and diaper changing will be inspiring! XD
I've been really slacking on music for about half a year now, so I'm also hoping this will serve as motivation to finish my album.
I also hope to do some really stupid things with LSDJ.
Hey guys, I've missed a week or two but WB has spawned at least one track I thought was worthy of releasing!
I'll try some dub. I've been meaning to play my melodica with LSDJ, haha. This is as good an excuse as any!

chances are i wont finish in time. id rather release something of quality than force something bad out. thats kind of what i did with my first one.

I got dumped on at work and haven't had much time. I have a truly awful "jazz" song, but I'm not turning it in for my Weekly Beat. I'll post it somewhere and link it to here, though.
here's my set up, not the best, but I have good times with it. Saving up for a prophet5 or 10, so in a few months that will be a part of it as well.
