Not 100% sure, but This might help you at least show who's survived. -- I'm willing to guess any survivors now, are totally going to go 100%.

Something @jiffypop23 made in Ruby to count who's been active/successful in staying alive.

I'll try to boot up a box with ruby soon and run it and report back here when I get a moment...

Not a bad idea actually...
I think I'm keen...!

This weeks track isn't 'done' nor is next week.
Should we make it for this week or the next though?

(Id rather the next week! *for week 38*)

I finished my track on the bus!
I don't have a car that works anymore, and its thrown me off my schedule and I made it to work a few minutes after the deadline ---

My tracks finished, I only just got in front of a computer to upload it though sad
Can I pretty please have a link?

List some things you have overcome, due to weeklyveats...

) UnWriting, Recording, GETIING, IT DONE.
(( still needs tweaking

time is *NOT* the enemy
time is a tangible thing.
time determines the outcome

Weeklybeats may even be an acquired taste \\

Not nearly enough as I want too/should.

Somtimes its me, having to fil a deadline.
I work on stems thoughout the week, LSDJ, constantly iterating, always fluctuating.

other times, like the ideal scenario,
This Week (An all nighter effort and just playing ... -- and feeling happy with the time spent
(other weeks, 'shotcut tracks'))

Check out ArKaos GrandVJ and arkaos 3.0 (both are completely different UI's)
But very simple to use (too simple!)

I use Resolume mostly for performance clips, but I do my editing in Premiere Pro 6

ArKaos tends to like most file formats without much need for conversions, where as Resolume works best when encoded to Quicktime or DXV.

Check out WinFF and MPEGSteamclip and vdubmod to convert/cut/encode/etc files.
Those are usually my go-to's for file conversions (All Freeware)

I'd have to agree with 'some weeks arent quite as good' Am going to continue,
It's been a bit of a training exercise, a learning exercise.

First 13 weeks were 'good', then weeks 14 to 26, um, life got incredibly intensely busy with absolutely everything it could throw at me, pretty stressful.
At that stage there where I was really struggling -- really hating on it (even sulked about it on the forums in desperate attempt to find solace), but I think I'm back on and feeling better about it.

So now! From week 27 onwards -- I'm feeling a bit more confident about the whole thing again. and looking forward to setting out to achieve what I initially wanted to...

Plus it's been good to listen though to some old stuff and know what was going on at the time...

I .. was on tour in Hobart  -- barely had internet sad ... :\ --- kinda wrote a track based on a bunch of stems too.

I figured, "well, its been over 24 hours already, probably never gonna be in the 52week club now"

Learning to live with it, But ... Maybe just maybe I should ask anyway? smile (but with so much remorse!!!!!)

I'm actually going to try and take a page out of your book, george bowles, and just try some experimental drone stuff,
It's fun and easy to pull stuff like that off - and it doesn't hurt to make!!

The question is, Mr Aday, does it NEED to be at the forefront, or can craft win out?

Not putting enough care and attention into something that you care about scares me into thinking that it will do bad things to ones work - and effectively, kill it. (DEAD)
<-- Which I guess I've just proven to my self that this is true

Craft could maybe win out, but that could potentially be killing one's own creativity and SPRIT? by just staying afloat for the sake of staying afloat.. waiting until something happens or inspiration hits when space and time finally merge and everything aligns, and you actually end up pulling though with something that resonates well with the individual as someone who creates something worth while and can be happy/proud of again..

BUT! The problem is,
Are emotional states (just being into it!) (or exhausted of it) relevant to the craft's outcome.... ????
I think they are.

There may be no easy answer to this momentum status 'issue'
And this is just something to reflect on...

I do like george bowles response of being more loose and free with tracks (with success)
Hearing thing's like that inspires me to think about just diving into a synth next week ... sometimes that works.
No drums etc. Just jam. (which I can do, and enjoy doing)

27 weeks to go....
