Veering away from Garden Ruin material momentarily, heading straight into noise.

I really have to get around to catching up on last week's tracks.  I haven't listened to anything from this week either.

mmm, noise  smile

I've actually got a noisier one coming too.  Single sound source.

I've built a few noise boxes/fx and I enjoy doing it but I just don't have time to get right into it unfortunately.

Bah. Two different concepts for this week, feeling too lazy to finish the design for one (to do with long-scale network traversal), and completely engaged with the other, but feeling inadequate with regard to PD programming ability and understanding of the nature of granular synthesis. So, what I'm attempting to do, is resynthesize my voice (or any audio input) using grains of samples, but it's really not working. Bah!

I'm a bit of a fan of granular synthesis when used in a tasteful and creative way.  I'll be doing some of that this year.  Granular synthesis that is.  HOPEFULLY it'll be tasteful and creative  smile

On a Thursday, nice work!

More Garden Ruin this week...still yet to record anything.

Thanks!  I got a head start seeing I upped some of the impro we did last week for week 5 and I completed it today because friday til Sunday is going to be hectic.  I started work for the year this week also.  Next week will be into full swing.  Damn shame that.  sad

Look forward to the next Garden Ruins!

Uploaded and done!  Such a good feeling.

Some exciting sounding things above.  I look forward to hearing them.

Mine is currently rendering out.  This track is leaning on the cinematic epic again  smile  Pretty darn happy with it.

I did 100 songs in 100 days last year so I'm really enjoying this weekly thing!  My holidays will be over soon so I'll have to get organised a bit more.

So far WB has been a walk in the park compared to LB last year!  I enjoy the weekly length as it (usually) allows time to work on the mix a bit also.  I write a lot anyway so this is a good outlet for all those tracks and it prompts me to complete them!  And the other bonus is other people get to enjoy them, not just me....... hopefully.  smile

Haha, yes.  Realtime won in the end  smile

And thanks, glad you liked the tones.  I found our respective sounds/tones worked quite well together.  Complimentary.

Cool.  Good luck!

Week 3 was fine but this week, I only just got back from camping.  I'm out tonight, gig tomorrow night, jam the next and then a tea the following night.  I'll attempting something in that time hopefully!
