Hehe... point taken.  I probably will I reckon but out interest at the least; does anyone know if it is possible to do such a thing with any apple apps via iphone/ipad?

Hey all,

I'm heading overseas for a month later this year so I was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to use an apple app of some sort to create (that part is obvious) but then render to an mp3 which is then able to be uploaded to WB.  There's the issue of (if it's possible) where the rendered file is stored on the device and then being able to select the file via the WB uploader.

Any suggestions?  I'll definitely have my iphone, I MAY buy an ipad but I think I'd have the same issues anyway.  Or I'll just be done with it and take my lappy.

smile

Cheers!

If anyone is interested, I made some shitty graphs. Although, apparently it seems as though the no of users from the start might be wrong sad

Awesome work.  Satisfies my inner nerd  smile

I use the H4n and have been very happy with it.  Handy for recording rehearsals and gigs also especially with the option of having a direct feed and a mic feed at the same time.  The stock windsock is pretty lame though if you're doing field recordings.  Heaps of aftermarket ones to choose from though.

To expand upon this, I know that Weekly Beats does not accept material with copyrighted samples, but what if we sign up for a Remix contest and have permission to use the samples?  Is that still not allowed?

Yes that is allowed.

Comments are definitely down the last week or so, unless people just think my recent tracks are shite.  neutral  I really liked my last track but next to no comments.  Oh well.

My track is dub inspired for this week.  Not 'typical dub' though sorry.  I prefer to be inspired by as opposed to emulating  smile

See you there!

This Saturday Molloy is playing.  Myself and one other weekly beater (Ryan) is in this band.  Instrumental post rock??  Come to the gig and make up your own mind.  smile    Two weekly beaters for the price of one.  Well the gig is free actually so for the price of nothing!

I may partake in my my own style of dub.  We'll see what happens  smile

I'm heading to the Grace Emily this Friday to see the eclectic Immerman.  I play experimental/impro stuff scattered throughout the year and bands regularly.  Would nice to see some more regular faces at gigs  smile

And Thursdaybloom, it'd be great to have an avant-garde scene but it needs regular punters to support the idea.  I go to as many gigs as I can to support the cause but I only see a few regulars.

I worked on a track this week but it's going to take more time to develop so today is a new creation.  Half done.  Will finish the rest tonight.  I'm happy with it thus far.  No beats.
