13 tracks made in 13 weeks is insane from me!

Yes same here, it's about 12 more than the usual year!

At first it felt like a sprint, now it's starting to feel a lot more like a marathon. I hope to be here when we close the year!

And congrats to every weekly beaters for the amazing music. I'm hearing everyone's progression over the weeks. In 13 weeks, it's quite amazing how everybody's work has gain in quality. Keep it up!

This year have been crazy. 6 tracks in six weeks is great. I have never done so many tracks even in one year.

Same here. Also, I am spending many hours working on my tracks... At some point I hope to speed up the workflow, be able to make decisions faster or maybe I'll make "interludes" some weeks so I can either take a short break for some nights or work a bit more than one week for the next track. When I read that some people have made a track in about an hour, I'm kind of impressed and jealous at the same, because I'd find myself lucky to have chosen a drum kit in an hour.

Also, it's winter here... I expect that it will be harder to make music when summer comes! yikes

Or you could simulate the notion of reversed percussion sounds with slow attacks and a very fast releases.

Some mathcore here too!

Uploaded. It was fun to get out of the 4/4 structure!

Good idea! "theme-week05" sounds great

oh man it's happening

No 4/4

Give yourself 10 minutes to make music everyday (at a predefined moment of the day, like right after supper for example). But also and more importantly, give yourself the right to quit for the day if after 10 minutes it's a complete failure. It somehow makes it easier to start (since you know you can quit early if things don't work out). I always end up working at least an hour.

Also, that deadline on weeklybeats is quite the incentive for me and since I can't pull together a song in 3 hours, it so far has been a procrastination breaker (but doesn't seem to work that well with OP!).

Good luck!
