Many, many thanks to Phil Harmonic and Aday (and anyone else working behind the scenes) to make all of this happen all year!

My upload ended up in week 53 and not 52...
Yep, same here: I think it was just the year change throwing some unintended complexity at the auto-tagging scripts.

Looks like all the uploaded-today tracks are live, as week 53: http://weeklybeats.com/#/music?s=tag:week+53+2016

Uploaded to 53; happy to re-upload to 52 if that helps once the codes are available.

I'm not 100% sure, but if you just click UPLOAD [http://weeklybeats.com/music/upload] it should do the trick. It will post as week 53, but I think this is the same for everyone. There are no tracks showing up for week 52 atm.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Ah, thank you! Going to try this on upload today. (Considering that the first deadline was January 10, we should at least get today.)

This year's been good--I think my level of worth-listening-to is higher than my 2014 stuff. Hard to choose one best track, but I did like some of the funkier stuff I was coming up with during the winter. (Maybe it's time to get back to the funk.)

Four hours left, but this one's fighting me a bit--tracked a bunch of stuff that worked at the time, but doesn't work now.

Super good dude. I went to the memorial service today, and there were too many cars to fit in the parking lot, and too many people to fit in the church hall. Overall, at least four distinct groups of people whose lives he'd touched. Requiescat, Jeff.

Topic: RIP Jeff Kowal (Terraamb) (6 replies, posted in General Discussion)
Jeff Kowal passed away on April 27, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was an electronic/ambient musician (working as Terra Ambient), creative director, a great guy, and a participant here for some weeks in 2014. He'll be missed.

Five hours left, bunch of snippets recorded, but need to do a few more, edit, and mix. Going to be a close one, I think.

Mission accomplished: Week 6 will feature only one kind of sound sample. (Though it's several different instances of the same kind of sound.)

Re: Your process right now (37 replies, posted in General Discussion)
This week, I've taken a challenge from a friend to build a piece using a single kind of sound source. I'm not entirely decided on whether I want to narrow that down to a single sample or leave it at the current several-instances-of-one-kind-of-sample status.
