Im pretty sure ima fuck it up, but why the hell not. Now we talking current mainstream dub or like old industrial style dub?

What the hell is industrial dub, I need to hear that!

Does anyone know a good tutorial as to how to go about creating dubstep? I'd love to take part but I don't know how to write something like that.

We are talking about dub. Not dubstep.

Stuff like this:

I think 50% of music related videos on youtube are dubstep-tutorials so you can find those pretty easily.

I did a dub track last week wink

Enjoyed your track quite a bit btw!

I spent two night of my holiday in Egypt doing Weeklybeats..otherwise lot of sleep during sunday has been sacrificed.

BTW, where is Minikomi? Hist tracks were my favourite stuff here..so different!

I've done two dub tracks (week 8 and 7, maybe the ones with dub on title) so I'm in.

I didnt listen that much music from 2011..I got into Kvelertak last year and their album had american rerelease last year so if that counts, it was probably one of the things I listened most. Awesome mix of Turbonegro style straight up rocknroll, Entombed and Andrew WK. Also seeing reactions of TRUE METALHEADZ was really funny.

Jodarok - Valvo Viiteen Nuku Kolmeen was one of my favourite hip hop releases:

Ableton Live for maany years. FL was the first thing for me too.

My roots are on punk rock. This is a finnish, other one plays acoustic guitar, other drums with extraminimal setup. I really relate to lyrics of this song too.

edit: This song also has many qualities I like in music. Its simple and to the point, charmingly sloppy/snotty and still very melodic.

Wu first, everything else 2nd.

Sadly my musical activities are starting to show..I had to finish some remixes and other songs this week plus have lots of gigs coming up so time is short all the time. But its been really fun, I try to finish every week, no matter what.

We should start a pool that how many people will actually finish this with clear 52 songs:)

Buy a soldering iron and just start messing around! I love to do building by myself, its sort of like zen thing to do.. with lots of bad language thrown around.

Second week in a row that I do everything on sunday and just do a liverecording without multitracking. I think I pulled it of nicely. This week I'm gonna work on some remixes/other more "serious" songs, so I think my next submission will be something acoustic:)

My new EP:

My older stuff, 3 albums:

Making music is nice. Looking enviously at other peoples setups is nice. There has been stuff like this on chipmusic.org etc, but here's bigger variety of people doing stuff so this could be interesting!

I'll post pics later myself.
