My mother and my sister are making sounds in the kitchen.
They don't know I'm listening to them.
I smile to myself.

Lovely vibes!

lounge room upright is such a nice vibe!

I always love the piano pieces that come in for WB.

Really nice snapshot, had my attention throughout.

This is inspiring.

Oh man, this is so great!!! I'm such a sucker for sad piano stuff. The added noises in the background and recording hiss here really add to the whole thing. Super nicely done!

this is so evocative

I can smell the room
I can feel the carpet on the floor
I can see the dust on the top of the picture frame

I enjoyed the gentle piano, clicked through to comment, read your description, and IMMEDIATELY I was 8 years old, dozing on the couch during a family gathering while the adults murmured happily in the other room, lulling me into a peaceful, contented rest. Thank you for this.

Maybe a little creepy, but can't deny the piano.

This exactly, I am certain you are seeing the room as clearly as I am now.

This is so so lovely to hear, thank you. I'm glad this brought such a vivid feeling to you.
I find this nostalgia myself when I play the piano, maybe it lets me tap into the memories of others like yours here.

I am sad that I am now many thousands of kilometres away from this piano and will not be able to record any more pieces on it, but I'm very pleased with the two wonderful recordings I have managed to get from it!

there are a couple pianos from my childhood that i miss very much.
it's lovely that you have this recording, thank you for sharing it with us heart

Same here. I'll never take playing one for granted as I did then, they're all such special instruments.
Thank you for listening heart
