That's low!
I'll confess I did skip some parts, liked the vibe a lot but would have like some different sections to keep things more interesting.
Still, cool submission!
Until now, all the conches I've listened to just sounded like the ocean. ![]()
great artist name
great track title
nice pitch down ending
this is really tripped out and hypnotizing. curious how you made it
This is wildly low and slow. I wanna play it with a massive subwoofer during trick or treating this year
I listened to this in the dark in my living room on the Onkyo surround setup, this was a trip…
Meditative. Nice work!
all hail the conch theme! ~(^_^~)
Thank you

I can see that. Might try with more sections and sounds someday, but it is a bit much to record in one week.

The process was very simple once I figured it out.
Drums were programmed on the Boss Dr. Rhythm DR-55. I then used a volume pedal to add dynamics and carve out most of the hi-hat hits. Spring reverb and space echo were added to accentuate some hits.
The bass was recorded as very long notes on the AKAI Timbre Wolf's Unison mode while twisting the knobs to the beat. This was then divided to four frequencies zones with sharp q's with a digital equalizer. Each zone was then carved out with a volume pedal, but letting some db through at all time and then lightly saturated.

Thanks
Wish I had one. I only have headphones.

Do you have an audio interface for your setup so you can mix in more than two channels? I imagine that must be incredible to play around with!
Until now, all the conches I've listened to just sounded like the ocean.
Perhaps I should've mixed in some phasey noise to go better along with the theme, or perhaps it can be imagined a different type of conch
