That synth patch is spectacular. This is such a dreamy relaxing track, I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding.
Thank you for this. Really looking forward to your stuff this year!

just beautiful, Wizard. and i quite enjoyed that video, well done!
i'm so sorry you've been through the wringer. it's just too much, and i really hope you get some rest & a year of good health. i'm so happy you are here.
let's keep going heart

wizard buddy - you've been through it
we are continuing to hold space for you
may you continue to heal
the music with the visuals is really haunting and lovely
the track is so filled with the pensive hope that feels like the energy going into 2026
thank you for taking me out of indiana for a moment to see a moonlit florida what a gift
even if it was the view from an ambulence! sigh
so glad you are here
here we go again!  woo hoo! one track down...

What an amazing musical journey - conducted with just a pad. Drifting and flowing. Video fit perfectly, just a mood. Absolutely cinematic.

I'm glad you're here, and looking forward to your music this year....be well!

Just stunningly beautiful. The space is so warm and open. Floating and mournful andtha ending! Oof.

Glad you're back buddy heart

Sorry to hear about the ongoing medical issues.  I hope they're able to figure out something to reign them in.  In the meantime I'm glad you're back and I got to kick off the year with the track.  It's warm, contemplative, and soothing and sends me into an excellent headspace.  Oh, and congrats on the album!

Beautiful. Happy to see you back!

I love thoses synths. Peaceful but with some tension still.

Nice.

Gosh, it’s good to hear your stuff again. Those unadorned pad swells and octave shifts are totally hitting me in the feels. 🥲 Welcome back Tone Matrix!

Dude... my words escape me.  Those harmonies... the video.  Really incredible work... so many feels.  Lookin' forward to another year of the best noodles on out there.

Man, I hear you in the health. I sure do hope you get the meds right. I have a full on drugstore so know what you mean. Lovely doodles as always so glad to have you back for another go!

Stay strong brother, continue to use music and those walks as your medicine, always great to hear your tracks and how you can make a single pad sound so engaging, beautiful, and hopeful.

Sorry it's been really rough for you recently. That feeling of a finding peaceful escape from the stress is apparent in this tune your wrote, and I find it's effect on me to be incredibly calming. It's one of the most powerful things about music--that transference of emotion into another person through sound. Sure hope things stabilize for you soon but I'm glad music has been a therapeutic outlet. heart

There is this particular way of playing the synth that I find soothing and heartbreaking in equal measures, and this was 5 minutes of that...just beautiful.  And the way it seems to detune on the swells was fantastic.  Wonderful work.

I hope the next set of meds help you start moving forward, after all this time you sure as hell deserve some relief.

Quiet a calming submission. I hope 2026 is and easier one for you. Glad to share the same community.

Wishing you the best for this year. Wonderful track, love it! heart

extremely cinematic and atmospheric, nice work!

I read the description. It sounds like it was a terrible time. And yet you shared with us a track. With the whole context, the music takes a whole different dimension and depth. There is some Vangelis in these sad string synths. They breathe in and out slowly. The noise like sound around the middle is haunting, like a call from a distant place.

I hope you’ll get better soon. Take care of your health and of everything.

I do hope things will get better for you. I hope you know the community appreciates you.
Also this music is very nice, you're not fooling anyone.
- Devieus

Very calming track, I could keep this on for an hour.

Thank you for being so open and sharing. Must've been a terrifying year, but the music makes me feel like you've found a way through, almost therapeutically so.

Keep on going, and I wish you the very best!

Wow. Thank you for sharing this. All the best to you, health-wise, and a hat tip to the mastery that lies in the simplicity and calm, and astonishing complexity of this track.

Ah, I'm sorry you've had so much misfortune! Sending best wishes for finding equilibrium in the coming days!

This is a beautiful set of chords--very much enjoying the atmosphere here.

Tough story. but amazing you're able to find beauty and set it to audio.

Dude I hope things stabilize for you health wise. We need you well and making these beautiful works. Thanks for finding the bandwidth to make this happen it’s lovely

I'm just sitting here, listening―stunned by how beautiful this sounds

Lovely chords in this - the detune is perfect.  Sorry to hear it's been a rough few weeks (and few years by sounds of it).  Know whatever happens, or wherever you are at, you'll still always be able to make tunes like this one which are very appreciated by all.  Good luck with WB2026 - take weeks off as you need heart  (only time I fully got though WB was 2012)

I had an eery feeling while listening to this. Reading your description afterwards it all came together, this captures everything you've experienced so good (as weird as this might sound).

Sorry you had to go through these episodes / shitty times. I hope you can find the right medication for you, fingers crossed!

this sounds wonderful and peaceful and such a powerful piece knowing the backstory! Glad you're here and thanks so much for sharing, hope you will be able to make music for a long long time!!!

I'm really happy I get to make music by your "side" again, friend. It feels good to be back, listening to your stuff and reading your posts. And I'm so sorry to hear that the afib hasn't gotten any better. I had a few weird heart palpitations a couple of years ago, and whenever they came around it was very uncomfortable to say the least. Even went to an ER once, kind of terrified of what was going on. I can't imagine what it must feel like to have this happen on a semi-regular basis, I'm so sorry dude heart
I will say, I really enjoyed the more ambient-ish track here! I also liked the video as well! Doesn't look amateur to me. Instead, it looks like it has artistic intention.
The track actually reminded me of aphex twin's "stone in focus".
I hope this week treats you well and that this coming Sunday arrives more peacefully.

Hey, sorry to hear about your struggles, and good on you for showing up anyways. Wishing you great tunes and a great year.

🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕 beautiful

(If Orange Drink brings back end of the year award nominations for 2026, I'm nominating this one for "best weeklybeat to vibe out to while driving home on a stormy night." levelcapybara tested and approved. 👍)

Ohh, my dear tone matrix. It is great to hear your magnificent music again. This track is very impressive with the knowledge of the background story. The film was nice to observe. Everything seemed to be benzodiazepin-affected, somehow… I cannot serve you with my weeklymeditation tracks at the moment, but I am glad you are playing the keys. My best wishes for 2026.

This is so lovely, and heartbreaking considering the inspiration. Sending you healing vibes - and they sound just like this amazing track

So dreamy and bittersweet. Moments like these, I think all I really need to be happy are some saws and an expressive filter. Hope it works for you in this time between finding what you need.

i love this and it was quite a moment on the listening session as well. video compliments it very well too. inspires me to do something more atmospheric for week 3 maybe. w2 I've already messed up with some weird high energy stuff ><

also sad to read about your health issues. i hope it gets solved

Sorry to hear about the health issues. I hope that 2026 brings some respite for you.

Fantastic track with a cool video, too. The swelling synths make me feel 'hopeful' during these messed up times.

Gorgeous chords, total melancholy but hopeful vibes.

Initially there's some "Stone In Focus" tonal resemblance (a good thing), but soon you change registers and this becomes more like a synthesizer-based Skyrim roaming harmony. I really like the timbres you pulled out. Very pleasant and well put together. The 5 minutes of the track went surprisingly quickly because of that!

Hope 2026 treats you better!

Nitpick: the reverb gets cut off at the end, oh noes.

I listened to this the other night, here I am listening again in the morning - lovely, rich chords for finding calm in both times. I hope things will get better, I'll be thinking of you and cheering you on. It's a treat to be reunited with your music in the new year smile

This is a really moving piece. I think you definitely captured the essence of the experiences you were describing in the description. Sorry that you have been going through a rough time as of late. I hope that this year turns to be one of healing for you. I look forward to hearing more music! I've always enjoyed your stuff.

I need to leave a comment to let you know that I listened to it, but it's kind of making me teary eyed and it's hard to find the right words

praying for your continued good health in 2026

love you buddy heart

WOW! Hopefully I quoted everyone that commented, i got a bit crosseyed trying to clicky them. Thank you so much for the love and kind comments!  I’m so happy to be here again with you all! Looking forward to a creative and productive year listening along with you! Lol yes sometimes i get careless with the ends of my tracks.  Sometimes it’s 2mins of silence or just an accidental need my eyes checked oopsy.  Just consider this the WB_edit wink  Also, I love Aphex’s “Stone in focus” so that’s a huge honor heart ambient music that takes you to calm place like that is so therapeutic.  Although I was an insomniac for most of that week, no benzos were involved in the making of this track lol.  Nor will they ever be. Also also, yay for stormy night driving tunes heart Thank you so much for making me feel welcome here.  Love yall! See ya for week 2!

Read your post while im listening to this amazing ambiental track that hits all the right sad and melancholic notes.
While I didnt experience the same shiz like you did in 2024, I had a psychotic breakdown due to being drugged at a festival.
My heart was going all the wrong places, panic attack, tripping out, and thought I experienced death itself. (it was cold, it was AI).

Reading your text made me rethink that event (no worries, I've made peace with that experience).
The insomnia I can also relate to, in 2024 I developed extreme tinnitus and its always there. I could barely sleep.
Luckily, at some point, somewhere, I decided to not care about it anymore and slept well for the first time in 18 months.

I honestly hope you'll enjoy thousands of more walks in the park, create more and listen to more amazing music, that the right medication will soothe your heart, and that 2026 is a year of recovery, care, and love!
*hugs*

I'm speechless, this track kd beyond beautiful.

Wishing you will find the right medication. And keep making / using the medicine that is music!

just totatly lush and relaxing. The sadness and uncertainty of medical emergencies its captured in the chords and tones. I had my own "oh no hospital" moment during 2024 and it basically knocked me out of sync with life for a good few months. Much love out there.

this is so serene, love it!!

Welcome welcome, a week late, meant to comment last week when I first listened! Love this song, the pulse, those chords. It does conjure late night driving. So sorry to hear about trip in ambulance and the afib drama, sounds miserable, yikes. But I smiled when you mentioned thanking the ambulance people, so nice! Well, very glad you are here sharing wonderful music with us again, and hanging in there. Hope all gets as better as it can. On to your next track now!

Fantastic.

I love how you choose such an evocative title and the music just matches it perfectly.

This is really good... on the other hand I feel like whoever is in the ambulance is making it to the afterlife more than they are the hospital wink

Sorry to read about your circumstances. This is really beautiful! Your harmonic language is so eloquent. Movements that can feel devastating or tragic you turn into something strangely uplifting and hopeful.
