Nack Blapkins

One time more than 10 years ago I found myself in a situation I couldn’t escape from.  I went on a long holiday on a peninsula, hoping to get some reprieve – along with answers.  I met a guy who used to play with Zappa – he had a Zappa T shirt on – I think it had the notation for Black Napkins, unimportant, which I felt was a little bit on the nose, but no matter.  We got along famously.

Anyway – this song is about how I felt when I finally came home and picked up the rubble of my life.  Respect to anyone who came out of the peninsula, b/c most of them are gone now.  Love to them, and love to you all.  Respect to anyone participating in this year’s challenge.  Do your best : )

Hard stop at the end is intentional, b/c any grand finale didn't seem quite as grand as the sputter of my friends being silenced.  Not to be dramatic and all, but I'm proud of all those that made it through, and I'm happy to be here with all of you. big_smile

Great song

Oh man that lead tone is amazing. It absolutely sings!

this is epic. peace.

I can feel a great sense of adventure in this.
