Hello frainds smile
Keeping myself in synth land for a bit but the noodles are lurking about.
Zebra & Massive synths used with a few loops thrown about.
I’m failing with the words this week but I know someone who is mucho better with words and da musics.
If you guessed jwh, you’re correct!
This week he worked on a collab between ddmm64 and myself smile
The inspiration came from ddmm64’s week 29 track,
“bullaby”
ddmm64’s track combined with Josh’s guitar and vocals inspired me to add piano, rhodes and a bit of squishy drums.
sifting (w/ ddmm64 + Tone Matrix).
Big thanks to ddmm64 and jwh for including me on such good song heart
and thank you for listening and stoppin by
Hopefully I did the linkage c0rr3ctly yikes

Oh this arpeggio is really good. Mysterious and dark, very NIN-like. When the beat arrives the atmosphere transforms and I feel it is not so dark anymore, there is light and the sun is rising. I like the breathing like beat layers.

Dang, looks like WB ate my comment... Well, second draft then. Zebra is such a dope soft synth... like just a workhorse for sound design... which is on point for this track.  I really love how much movement and interest there is in the textural elements... like I could easily listen to this track on loop for a LONG time.  Great work.

OH GAWD THE TRENT REZNOR PIANO INDUSTRIAL FILTERED DRUMS I AM IN ALLCAPS FREAKING HEAVEN.

Sorry I am a little excited tonight. And I mean and then the piano gets just a little bluesy with some groove and vibe ... you're killing me man, this is amazing!

My fave part of weekly is just how inspired I get by everyone's music. Yours is often a reminder that I need to keep up my keyboard skills lol. This is so great heart

This starts off with a cool mood that I would have been happy to live in for a while on its own, but I think it builds into something even better.  The middle section is uplifting and pretty.  Then I like how it kind of ebbs back out at the end.

instantly felt my blood pressure relax. beautiful playing, beautiful production.
i appreciate you and your music so much, Wizard.

Love it.  Hints of The Fragile with your keys, a really great track.  And you squish them drums so good!!!

So pretty and serene. I love the subtle rhythmic crunch in the background - it's a cool recurring element in your synth ambient tracks and I'm all here for it. The occasional off-key chromatic steps add some really neat color too, and when those pads come in and the beat picks up around the 1:25 mark...it's just so awesome!

Such a chill track with sooooo much nuance and textures. The piano sits nicely amid this world of crunchy heart beat loops, low buzzy vibes, and ethereal pads. Such an inviting and relaxing sonic soundscape that is simultaneously uplifting and calming as I sit here staring out my window at Starbucks.  I’m already on my third listen.  smile

really nice work, I am a huge fan of u-he have had zebra for a very long time, awaiting zebra-3. Hope you are feeling better,

Oooh very nice, I like your drums here, feels good when they come, I'm riding them along, and the lead melody gets us ready with its provocative questions. I like this one, great soundtrack for a show.

dig the soft low-fi beat in the beginning and the other rhythmic elements going on. The melody is catchy and mysterious with that dissonant note (not sure if that is the correct terminology, I just mash buttons on my m8) This is great man!!

Fuck this is so cool. It starts with gritty silent hill esque industrial spookyness then opens up to these chill beats. Great shit.

This track is very clever arranged. I think there is  something creeping out of the ground, rising up expanding beautifully and descending back again into the underground. Very catchy stuff.

So glad I have sometime to catch up on last weeks tracks, would be a crime to miss this one.  Instantly grabbed my attention, was ready for another “is Tone Matrix secretly collaborating with Trent Reznor”, but then that change up at 1:25 takes this track in a completely different direction.  I keep listening to that part over and over.
