Stop Overthinking

This week was intense and left little time for myself, and even less for making music. Work, studies, writing my certification paper, a weekend with the kids and suddenly it was Sunday again. Back to making something quickly, almost last minute.
Luckily the new Gabiga sample pack dropped and the drum sounds sparked inspiration right away. Crisp, direct, no overthinking. I knew this one had to be more about improvisation than composition.
So I kept it simple. Drums first, a funky bassline on top, a very basic chord progression, then experimenting with guitar and Guitar Rig. Stir once. Done.
Sometimes that’s enough.
