This is probably one of my all-time favorite combinations of your filmmaking and music work. The way the visuals and track develop in tandem here had a really neat impact!
Also, yay vibraphone. ![]()
really love the film making with the music for WB, it's such a cool combo, this works beautifully
Very creative approach to such a great track! Congratulations!
Hell yais! Vibraphone keyboard introductioooooon! \m/ love the metronome feel with the twin peaks mood. you sir are inspiring! ![]()
I love the vibraphone/synth/melancholy combo. It's just the kind of vibe I dig. You know, I'd love it if I could use this as a intro to build off of for a future weeklybeat if you're down? I feel like there's potential for some ethereal vocals on it and a beat and some guitar and some b-b-basssss
Oh what a perfect video and eerie/scary video. There is something off (in a good way), even though I cannot put my finger on it. This reminds me of some of the early soundtrack works by Reznor. Beautiful, and the video adds to it. I love the idea, and have no idea what it means but there is something deeply unsettling on this zoom in into the lofi television.
This is awesome and also spooky scary! I love how broad your range is ![]()
Five weeks, five genres. Looking forward to bossa nova Orange Drink, progressive death metal Orange Drink, and maybe most of all opera Orange Drink.
Joking aside, from where I'm standing I'd say you grew musically since WB24. Always the heart of Weekly Beats, now also the soul. No notes, five stars.
And by the way at this point I caught up on your stuff. And you got range, my man. Yes.
Love the video production this week.
(Music is still very cool an ominous) I quite like that you did print a click in. Sounds pretty cool.
Love you! take care.
It somehow sounds simultaneously friendly and threatening to me. I liked the moment when I spotted the metronome sitting on top of the tv and it was in sync with the metronome in the music.
Music and video here are really cool. Great job. Especially liked the camera zooming in on a TV that's actively filming you CARRYING ANOTHER CAMERA, but not doing that video feedback thing. Just super mind bendy, really cool. The hypnotic musical loop serves perfectly for it, too.
I was oddly hypnotized by the metronome. Nice multimedia effort.
I'm with you on this one. Maybe I am hypnotically susceptible, because I couldn't stop staring. Nice job OD!
OMG I love how this one builds! It's strangely welcoming and ominous at the same time...
simple but mesmerizing, the video really fits the atmosphere of the track.
high fives to frank & drew - love the double franks at the end
the forward sounding vibraphone pulls you right on in & you hold us in place with that trombone and then you hypnotize us with the little drone to big drone - this mix - wow!
wow drew - way to leave us wanting more!
Hypnotic! That wall of sound that you've built up by 1:30ish is somehow equal parts cozy and threatening! And I've seldom been so sad to hear something ending.
oh wow this is so cool. last weekend I watched an old film with a Lalo Schifrin soundtrack and this could have fit right in, amazing work
That's so cinematic! I feel the reveal of some intricate murder mystery coming to its epic conclusion. Love that feeling.

The ominous hum..the lights aflicker..Are you the man in TV..or has he become you?..
That moment the light goes out is so strangely unnerving. There was this short moment where I was doubting if it was still the same person.
i just
i feel like your vision has gotten so clear, and your skills so sharpened from the years of quick turnarounds and drive.
were you and SQF talking about "putting in the reps" on the podcast, or did i imagine that? this is what that looks (and sounds) like.
getting to experience your work week after week is such a life-affirming treat.
selfishly i love that i'm part of a small community that is in the gym seeing you crush dunk after dunk... 3 after 3... free after free...
but damn, i know there are a lot of people in this crumbling world that could find hope & comfort & inspiration in your work and i hope everyone who needs it finds it.
I'm loving moody-drink as much as all the other drinks.
The production is spot on too, those lush drones!
Man I hope you're paying that freezer cause he's in a lot of your videos...
Oooh, so cool, here it comes, kinda creepy green, mysterious. Another great idea. Love the mallet sound in the song.
