once a month emily and i set up some gear to do some live recording & see what comes to the surface. we then go to our respective corners to layer & mix without listening to what the other is doing.
we don't listen to the other's mix until after it goes live on WB 
this month started with a drum idea & melody that came to me in a dream last week. lyrically i drew some inspiration from a really kind message i received from my friend, Josie.
for our live tracking i was playing drums (floor tom + snare) while emily played bass. she was playing our Mustang through a Big Ears LOAF fuzz pedal into a rad amp that Uncle Bruno built for her. the tom & LOAF are on loan from our good buddy, Doty. 
after tracking i layered in some more vocals, electric guitar, and percussion. ok!
