Love getting to hear both your takes on these collab tracks. Awesome work, both of you! big_smile

whoa!!! love where you took this. u r the best!
THANK YOU, EMILY heart

Love hearing the different takes you each do.  Such lovely vocal harmonies heart

It's always fascinating to hear how different these collabs end up in your respective versions.  The reverbed harmonies at the end sound enormous and the laughter was a good startle/surprise.  The bells are a nice touch, too.

I love these collabs because they sound like two mixes of a song I haven't yet heard- this week, Emily featuring Massive Attack, and JWH Unplugged (moreso than usual). This was dreamy and delightfully trippy. Wonderful heart

omg Polyanna, core memory unlocked. Love how different these collabs turn out. the little chime is so sweet. The reverb adds such a nice texture and aetherial quality.

nice the little bells providing a hook to the melody. lovely collab!

so cool to hear two mixes of the same song. love the use of bitcrushing here, and i love the burst into laughter at the end!

Oh man, I love hearing the different directions you and Josh take on these! A little creepy, a little ethereal. Breakdown to just the vocals at the end was great - and that laugh came across as more than a little manic! Awesome.

to piggyback on what everyone else is saying regarding you and j's collaborations: its one of my favorite things with wb now and this time you both took it in wildly different directions and its so interesting to compare them! great work as usual!

I am glad too!

Love the "ruberry" quality of the main bass. Very cool arrangement. Bravo.

THIS IS SO GOOD!!! Awesome to hear how you two took this in such different directions! Big fan of the bell synth, BTW. I'm a sucker for high pitched synths, especially ones that sound like bells and/or whistles.

here there and back again. Ditto on being glad so much better than the alternative. Love the collabs!

wishing you all a happy summer full of things to be glad about

Beautiful, and so very sweet. I love the harmonies at the end, and that laugh is infectious!

thank you!

Love the reeverb on this, feels like it makes those beautiful words echo through time and space.

It's so cool to hear both versions. I heard jwh's first, so this felt kinda like the "remix".

Crazy, eery sound you got to it. Gigantic room, echoing cave. Harsh, broken dist. But at it's core very "sweet" sounds.

I always love the contrasts you work with! smile

Ya, it does sound like a remix, even... less live, more sampled, curated & effected? thanks you & Emily & this community for helping me think about music. I'm so glad we exist!
