Well, here we are; WB2026!
I've been on the fence for weeks deciding whether I can find the energy to undertake WB again. The last week I started tinkering to see if anything sparked and wasn't having much luck. I tried to get something new going in three different projects but none of them were vibing enough to drive me so I had mostly decided it's not the end of the world if I don't participate this year.
Yesterday I thought I would give the ideas folder a quick look and this little guitar bit was sitting there (intro) and sounded easy enough to make into an easy stripped back guitar/vocal thing... Then I got other ideas...
I really shouldn't have started with a vocal piece because as usual the lyrics were a huge issue that slowed things down, so some of them are... eh... I gotta remind myself though that it's just a disposable pop song, doesn't have to be deep or perfect or whatever.
I hope everyone has fun with their WB endeavors
