a season's worth of doubt

By home taping association on January 18, 2026 10:08 pm

Spent arguably more time on this.  Think that was probably fixing niggles and snags that were annoying me.  think overall I'm happier with last week's effort.  what started as an attempt at a lofi American football ended up somewhere else.  a guitar is clipping somewhere and I swear something is out of time and that's bugging me. vocals were all too hastily recorded so need to allocate more time next week!

as I've said before - really focussing on vocals this year.  happier with the blend I *think* especially the high harmony in the chorus.  going to work on this next week.  think they're overall too loud in the verses but meh, I'll live with it for this week.

facgce if anybody cares

another lovely tune, I can hear the american football influence in the guitar parts it's lovely! vocals blend well too heart

The chiming melody is pure American Football and you totally nailed the flow of the song. The chorus sounds great too, love the cut off distortion as the verse kicks straight back in

Yet another great track. Love the vocals! Keep em coming. smile

oof awesome guitar sound again! heart The interplay between your excellent vocals and the guitar is so nice.  \m/

Lovely lofi emo tune, you absolutely nailed the American Football vibe. That guitar part in the verses is so beautiful.
Nice work on the vocals too, keep it up!

This feels nice and comfortable.

Beautiful! Vocal harmonies are lovely, especially the verse. Chorus guitar has the right amt of crunch. Love the background sparkle in the verse, neat way to add edge to the clean guitar. And I really like the way you take stock idioms and twist them. This song gets at the sadness of the style that a lot of instagram midwest emo players miss

enjoyed this quite a bit!

Fully formed, and beautiful.

Love the way this sounds. Particularly enjoy the parts with the halftime drums. Just feels gooood. "a season's worth of doubt" is a cool lyrical and melodic hook.

hell yeah facgce! vocals sound good! sitting nice in the mix and the doubling sounds good.

Great guitar tones, and the vocal harmonies sound good too! Great track!

Great arps on the guitar. It's got a lovely hypnotic feel.

The vocals sit in the mix really nicely.

yo this is SO GOOD
