Void Ash

This went sideways.

I sampled (with permission) release from DenaWoods. The intention was to make something peaceful and contemplative, but a little bit of distortion led me to something distinctly more paranoid. I'm trying not to abandon ideas. So I went with it. There's not a lot of variation, but there also wasn't a lot of time this week, so...

The whole track is composed with Plinky and Analog Rytm Mk 2. Deckard's Voice is being underutilized as a dub siren. Destructive sculpting, compression and eq were done itb with FL Studio. The output of that was thrown on the SP-404SX for performance.

Résister à l'appel du vide.

so fascinating to hear where 'release' took you

Dude, I love this! I dig the direction the sample took, very cool.

once again, i am hypnotized heart

So much to be said for not abandoning ideas and powering through.

Dark and glitchy.

This is so dope !

sweet trip hop vibes ala Massive Attack.  The lower bass in between the snare and higher note is so pleasing.
