So close! I'll keep casting my vote. You're right on their coattails!

Voted. How could I not for a band with such great legs?

Sounds like fun, but the rules say "No.". Unless I'm mistaken. sad heart MItchell and Webb.

Hawt. I'd have left it wide open for Beib porn.

Experimental, ambient, and industrial? Me too! I'm a relative novice, but it sounds like it might be fun fun experience!

*Raises hand* Every week so far. I'm hoping we're at the point where the decline in submissions levels off. Week 2 was most at 368 submissions and then a decline each week to 186 last week. Not that I've been able to find time to listen to anything. >:/ But the more the merrier, right?

Just checking it out now. Be careful about leaving an open IRC server up. I did that for a while and found it was being used for nefarious purposes after hours. Happened to log in early and found a bunch of pedo/pervy sounding names. Checked the logs, and they'd been using it for months. Admin fail on my part. Wound up password protecting it. You may have that all in consideration, but just mentioning my experiences in case helpful or pertinent. smile

Been really enjoying putting up a track every week. Nothing polished and solid, but still an exploration and realization of an idea. At the very least, it's practice. There's a couple of weeks it was tempting to just let it slide due to life, but I'm really glad I've stuck with it.

Same here. Should be more active on giving feedback on tracks.

That's been a big one for me. Missing out on some great music due to work. Blah.

Any practice is good practice, but I totally understand the time crunch thing. sad FWIW I thought your tracks so far have been quite listenable. Last weeks was sort of raw and chaotic in a good way. Like the downtempo feel of "tab over". I just didn't comment because I listen while working lose too much time leaving feedback on every song. sad Sucks because most of what I hear on hear deserves good feedback.

I actually think this is a good goal. Ensuring at least one comment on each song will not only keep us involved, but help newcomers stay interested. It really helps when you know that somebody is listening to your music.

Totally. I think anyone who submits a track has to be emotionally invested to some extent. Especially those with less experience. One comment vs. no comment can make all the difference for some people whether they pursue music production further.

P.S. - No snark intended with the prevail comment. Meant wholeheartedly. I'm looking at this as a community that will grow together over the next 50.5 weeks, and the more of us that are open to listening, offering feedback, and helping each other, the more incredible the experience will be. I realize that may sound a bit Mary Poppins, but I'm really enthusiastic about this.
