I fell flat on my face after the 1st 2 weeks but I'm blaming the appalling weather we've had recently. Thankfully it pulled its head in this weekend so yay, I am back on track with an excellent entry this week! (with special guest pselodux on ze drumz)

Ive missed several weeks in a row now. I suck!

I wish softsynths had existed when I was in high school in the 80s sad

The neighbours, on the other hand.... hahaha lolll.

I have no family OR pets and I still never seem to find time (Ive skipped the last 2 weeks, ugh!).
I'd happily have a partner who worked as hard on music in spare time as I do (or more so) - have done so before in fact! Never bothered me a bit smile

How enforceable are CC/ARR type declarations on a track, anyway? Ive always wondered about it. I mean I can say my track's all rights reserved til I'm blue in the face but nothing's gonna stop Grey Worldwide from stealing it and sticking it in a Honda ad if they really wanted to. Onus is then on me to chase it up in court, isnt it?

Yeah I'm with no 4/4.  Suits me, I want to do some 6/8 jams anyway.

Haha I wasnt going to follow the theme stuff but I cant say no to a pselodux melodee!

(I thought you were gonna troll everyone and use the penguiv lead line tho dude, lol)

Hm. I might mention this to my band and see if theyre interested but the notice is a bit short smile

I'm dealing with it by listening to stuff by tags that would grab me. So tag your stuff well, folks!

I assume no one'd wanna DL my garbage anyway haha.

Because I'm slow, I only just heard Owen Pallett's "Heartland" album this afternoon. And such beautiful production, arrangements and skill... I think I just want to pack it all in after hearing that, ha ha.

Other recent listens: The Books, Nancy Sinatra, Aztec Camera, Echo and the Bunnymen, Home Video, Savages.

Melbourne here too, and so far this heatwave is stopping me in my tracks, frankly - I've sat around like a stunned mullet drinking gin instead of working. My studio space has no aircon and is impossible to work in in these conditions! Halp.

Apropos of nothing, I have to say that I *LOVE* Calvino's work!

Currently I'm reading "The Shallows" by Nicholas Carr. Faintly depressing assessment of how the internet is making us all dum dums...

LOL, my track could not be any further the OPPOSITE of black metal if it stood up and did a jig on a table.
