Light Rain at Golden Hour

Happy Week 39! I found myself starting several different potential tracks this week which was fun. This one felt easiest to flesh out, I was trying to come up with some more colorful chords than usual and this is where I landed. In looking for a melody sound I quickly settled on a tenor sax patch and didn’t look back, so we’re in pseudo-jazz land here. Feels like background/vibe music. Apologies for the weird breathing sounds picked up by the guitar microphone >.>

Starts off sort of gymnopedie-like. So dreamy, late-night jazz. Love it!

what a vibe. so comforting and dream-like to putter around the house with this playing in the cans.
when the harp and smooth guitar lead comes in...

This is very relaxing. A rainy day reading a book by the window at the local cafe in song form. Smooth stuff.

I wonder where the line is where we move to full jazz tongue

Oh man... this track is like exactly what I would expect to be playing in the bar in Catherine (the Katsura Hashino game)... like when you're talking with other patrons to find out about their lives and struggles.  GREAT vibe.

what. a. vibe. Love the decision to roll with the sax. Fantastic job

had to come back for a friday afternoon listen. ahhh, much better now

transporting and lovely

This. Is. Gorgeous. Love the laid-back vibe, and my ears were completely fooled at first about that sax patch. Really solid work on this one! big_smile (Didn't even notice the mic breathing - came across more like white noise waves, which suits the calming mood.)

Love the sunset vibes from this.  Ohhhh that sparkly harp just twinkled by yikes Those are just so lovely.  The sax was a patch? Dang coulda fooled me.  The guitar just completes this wonderful mix.  The solo bits of the guitar gave me some David Gilmour vibes too.  Well done!
