I purchased a new (to me) Fender Jazz bass last week. So plan was to do a track with only that and drums.
So bass only plus drums (and a gong patch from Ableton) this week. Another 6-8 time signature track as it works good with some "stoner ish rock".

Not sure how to describe it, but this feels relentless, melancholic and badass all at the same time. Super cool, great job! Also, congrats on the new toy! You're clearly already making great use of it

There are tons around, just need to be patient, check marketplace for one at the right price and pull the trigger.

Hey, I do have my little guit amp and another mic on the kick, snare and toms are closed mics and I do have L and R overheads for a total of 8 mics (if I do count the speaker of my amp a mic).

Love the sound of that bass with the bad ass drums. Ooof the mix as well sounds great. Hearing all the elements of the kit, feels like I'm sitting in the room with you. Those cymbals splashing with the bass \m/
