Road

So here we go! Good to be back with this.

I did various attempts at making tracks this week, and started 2-3 things that went nowhere before making this during the weekend (there was a race between the mp3 encoding progress bar and the clock in the end. The clock won, but the WB crew made it work out, so big thanks to them!).

Leads and FX were played, the rest was sequenced by Dirtywave M8 and tweaked during recording.

Drums: MFB 522
Bassline: Matrixbrute
Broken glassy leads: MS20 mini
Sustained lead: Minibrute 2
Arpeggio line: Minifreak
Boomy FX: MS20 mini
Warbly FX: Mono Lancet

Cassette delay on everything but drums and bass, and most of the stuff was parallell-overdriven through a tube pre. Compression, eq and reverb ITB.

Hello

Moody, melodic lowfi future disco?

Retro feels.

Loving the keyboard leads

Very nice track, mellow but moving. I really like the bass sound, melody is super fun as well, very efficient chord progressions.

With the title as "Road" I feel it would be awesome on a retro driving game top gear 3000 style... smile

This is super catchy, I want a whole soundtrack like this tongue

What a nice mellow track! I like especially the little reoccuring theme that comes around 0:50

Nice Beat, fit for a videogame. The melody is complex enough to be interesting but still simple to be easy to follow and lyrical. Lots of synths on the list! They all start with an M, I guess there's something about M named instruments...

Welcome back!  I was just thinking this would make great driving music and then I noticed the title was Road.  I think that fits really nicely.

The initial lead sounds great; I dug when it settled on the motifs around 0:30.  The whole thing has a sunny synth vibe like those old Sega arcade games around the time of Outrun and Space Harrier. (The MS20 mini booms are cool, too)

Great track. Loved the lead melodies.

Good you could make it, you brought good music.

Ahh, sweeeeeet synth pop vibes! Great sounding, too.

That main descending melody is sweet. Also really like the drum/bass outro. Nice job!

definitely saw a road montage to this - nice job!
