AND WE'RE BACK
M8 tracker, all synthesized.
loosening up the rust (i made zero music last year).
Things I like:
* pretty good kick/snare.
* pretty cool harmonies (i think you'd call this a mixed-modal sort of thing? plus a modulation a whole step down in the middle, that feels pretty natural)
* nice contour/instrumentation inversion in the "bridge" section (hear it?)
* i like the scrowly macrosynth "toy" lead
Things I don't like:
* creative work ethic... late submission already...
* structure/approach kinda rutted in some vague patterns I can recognize from 2022. I need to figure out what song/track-writing skills I want to stretch.
* certain depth of texture + sound design that i kinda imagined but didn't have time for
No weekly videos this year; might do a weekly collage cover art though.
