A Moment of Reprieve II

Pretty tired. Just wanted to write something that gives me some kind of peace of mind especially because tomorrow is going to be a super busy day.

Hope all goes well! This is definitely helping me relax at least. smile

Two songs for the price of one! Some really nice, jazzy sounding chords used in the second half. I liked the waviness of the first half. Bass sounds really solid and consistent. Is that synth or real bass?!?! Notes sound super cleanly played. Nice job!

Heard this at work, thought it was two different tracks at first. Really really good production and that Gm to Am at 3:47-48 that forms the recurring two-chord motive is really really really effective (using it as a lead-in to the 4:57 section was really nice too).

I forgot notes I made about work I heard at work, but from what I recall, I wrote about how the second part sounded hella epic and how the beat buildup only confirmed that.

A long moment, but very, very beautiful. It doesn't feel like two songs, it's all pretty organic. Good luck.

Lovely minimal guitar lines in the first half.  Works well with the pad sounds.  Definite reprieve.  smile

I like the guitar tone on this track and the general atmosphere you develop. Indeed, it sounds like a reprieve.

love the mood you created here. awesome guitar and pads. a postrock beauty.

hope your super busy day went okay

I really love that you just went ahead and had a big ole part 2

love the slow chords/playing in the second section.

Immediately pulled in with the opening riff. Nice warm bass shortly after grabs all my attention.  The second half is really interesting how it shifts to a simple solo guitar and builds back up. Super cool outro!
