This. Is. So cool! 😎
I love this texture and your vocals are the coolest part. I’d love to hear them come back in future weeks. It’s really amazing what you’ve been able to put together despite the circumstances. Wishing you a steady recovery. ![]()
this is lovely; the long pull of the synths with ur vocals works so well! ur voice is great!
It's cool to hear some vocals from you. You have nothing to be shy about or apologize for. They sounds really good. Synths are great as always and the percussion adds a nice little dose of energy. It's good to step out of your comfort zone, and I know it can be scary to do so and to put your voice out there like that, so congrats on pushing yourself.
The chosen imagery instantly painted a field of tall grass in my brain. The vocals are great and evocative of a ritual around a fire in the plains. Awesome work with the whole composition, this rules.
i love this so much, Wizard. and your voice sounds fucking awesome.
let's keep going ![]()
Woot! Singing! I think you sounded really good and your lower register voice is super complimentary to the music
I super encourage you to keep it up throughout the year because I think you'll be super proud of the songs you put your voice on. Your rhythm section was excellent throughout the track too, I like that bouncy melody.
The interplay of the rhythms of the different parts work so well here, almost hypnotic, which definitely matches the vocals which sound great! Amazing song! Love the video too!
where do i even begin?
just beautiful!
the video (you're making me miss florida - so nice to visit - we got snow here last night)
the vocals (much prefer ewiz to alice)
the band drama (wonder if afib will get kicked out of the band this year?)
Beautiful.
Really like the percussive part work, it is very good. Vocals suits the track very well as well. Congrats!
I hope you are feeling better and you will have a great 2026.
This is real dang purdy. The imagery is going well with it. I now wish the video had the "Activate Windows" watermark from Devieus' stream. Great instrumentation on this, very lush
Production is so lovely on this one
Reminded me a lot of Low Roar (especially their opener for Death Stranding). Awesome work on this!
Dude this is sweet. Love the vocals, wasn't expecting them at all but they are a perfect fit for this track. Would love to hear more.
The vocals are great, def get some Alice In Chains vibes. Wow I love this. Faving
my afib thinks (...) it’s a part of the band
This actually made me smiled, hahahah...
Also, I'm really enjoying your vocal explorations here! Super cool, your voice works well for this!
I don't exactly understand most things in music theory, but I think there are parts of the melodic back bone of the song that are in a pentatonic scale, right? It's so cool how it feels vaguely Asian but also cowboy western-y at the same time! So cool!!!
omg definitely listen to that Drew person whoever that is
YOUR SINGING IS SO GOOD
the kick drum pattern is really rad, the string kinda thing is awesome, the SUPER DRONE is exquisite - actually put this on an album (along with your week 1 but maybe different albums)
I now wish the video had the "Activate Windows" watermark from Devieus' stream.
ROTFL OMG
Really nice droney track. The word mesmerizing comes to mind.
Don't worry about your voice at all, it blends really well into the mix.
I really love the timbre of that brassy drone, like the movement in the brightness through out the piece give the pedals a lot of life, while still, you know, being pedal tones and grounding everything. And vocal layers really fill up the sonic space in a way that... I guess kinda feels like I'm being enveloped by the lyrics, which is just a cool effect.
My friend, this is really great stuff. Those vocals are so smooth. The sound design is stunning. I loved this!
"I wish I could hear you say it's okay"
It's not just okay, it's powerful! Glad you shared your voice with us. It elevates your music, which I already liked on its own (and this week's well-produced krautrock slowburn is a good example why), providing it with an entirely new dimension. You should feel proud of this.
Really beautiful track here. Great work. I'm feeling a lot of Coil and Swans on this track if I were to compare it to anything, and those are two bands I love.
"Apparently my afib thinks this year it’s a part of the band" made me laugh harder than it should have.
Your vocals are super dreamy, flowing above and below the music, it works really well. If you do more of these throughout the year I'd be very keen to see where go.
If Dark and True Detective's main themes had a child, this would be it.
Great voice, great score!
It's like a beautiful amalgam of 3 ethnic influences together in harmony
- Ebrit
Beautiful harmonies supporting the vocals, I appreciate that you mentioned that you feel unsure about doing vocals, I think that's where the magic is. In that uncomfortable space where the fear waits hides growth. Not everyone is brave enough to do that in public. Great work!
Absolutely beautiful, the title of the track and the picture used perfectly catch the whole vibe of the song
Love it! The rhythm got me for sure. Thought of like some north African rhythm slightly maybe, not sure, but yeah. The drone is felt right. Then the vocals, sounds great, makes the song, go go sangin, yesss, thanks for doing it. Inspiring. Glad you made another awesome tune in midst of the afib still. "It's ok" ending lyric, sweet.
Wow, so glad you did this, vocals fit so well with track, really elevates this one. Beautiful piece you created this week, video fits the feel of the music, you have earned a noodle week for the next one.
This here song is a beaut for sure. As someone who is pretty shy about doing vocals I commend you in doin’ em!
I agree, don't apologize, particularly with such soulful vocals.
And your videos inspire me, maybe I can also get back to video making one of these days..
Vocals! Love the multitracking. Amazing layering and texture in this - lush and rhythmic. Your piano over the top was perfect. This is a musical sunrise.
Really like the introduction of vocals here! Keep going with that. It really adds to the imagery created by the rest of the composition. It sounds like you recorded two vocal tracks, with one being low and raspy and the other being higher? It sounds really cool! Adds a lot of depth.

Here for the new tones from within the Matrix, sounds awesome!

great work. beautiful.
Awww gosh thank you everyone! Don’t make a pale ginger blush!
too late!
Seriously though it means a lot to read these comments after sharing that side of me. I get in my head all too often and I was seriously considering not submitting this early last week. But I'm very glad I did. Not sure when I’ll do another vocal thingy but i hope to soon.
Good news is I’ve temporarily kicked the afib out of the band. Well at least for this week it took a vacay. I do enjoy making videos when I can but this week the video_brain was just not cooperating. Also yais I recorded a few vocal takes of different versions of me to originally try and hide behind myself. So there is a cleaner version and a sort of frog in my throat version aka Afib in my chest. Yay thank you for stopping by!
You sound rad, Eric! And even though you don't believe it, your vocal harmonies sound indeed like Alice in Chains...
Florida's own Layney Stanley
Great to hear you venturing in vocals! And I really like the tune, specially the "i wish I could" part
Fantastic effort ![]()
There is so much to love. The minimalist beat, the beautiful piano, the long NIN-esque drone. The singing is really good, it adds to this nostalgic feeling. Did you try to go with different scales for pianos? It sounds a bit different from your usual outputs, and I always welcome new adventures!
