I've enjoyed your recent forays into beats and even vocals, but I will happily take a piano noodle when you've got one for us.  Plaintive and soothing, it's nice to relax to.

Reminds me of Yann Tiersen.  Very nice

Noodle accepted. This is still good work!

I agree with

thanks for the great noodlin'

could listen to your noodling all day. this was great as usual

So beautiful. I am endlessly envious of your noodles. Just wonderful.

Beautiful track, as only you know how to make them. The piano has a ghibli studio quality. It takes us on a journey through the windy hills, with a deep feeling of nostalgia when things were much less complicated. Thank you for sharing this track with us.

You've got chops! Solid dynamics, and (although you disagreed ;p) I think you have a great sense of timing.

Is this all improv? Do you write stuff out on the piano beforehand?

Lovely, a bit moody and sombre and wintry. Would definitely listen to this on the bare gorse and heather hills on a cloudy day.

wow, i love this!

This is seriously getting me emotional. Possibly my favorite thing of yours, period. Fantastic work, my friend heart

life always feels more manageable when a ginger wizard is playing piano for you 🧡

Here for it all, this was just lovely.

I see this week's your turn for solo piano! Excellent, love me some of that.

Some of the melody when you're flirting with dissonance are particularly strongly pulling on the emotional strings. YES I KNOW YOU DON'T PULL BUT HIT STRINGS ON A PIANO IT'S A BAD METAPHOR OKAY

Where was I, ah yes, loved the 2:3 moments between the hands, too. The bass rhythm gives such a nice steady flow to whatever happens lyrically above that the moment at 3:30 where you silence it feels pretty impactful. And the return of the bass with a different harmony... a worthwhile finale.

Not bad for a noodle, huh. Not bad at all!

Feels like watching the snow fall outside while keeping warm inside, even if i listened to this outside in the snow. So powerful heart

Yeah, give me some tasty noodles again please. So comforting. I love some Italian pasta or Asian rice noodles based dishes... Your piano noodles are pretty awesome!

It really sounds like a "happy" or maybe "peaceful" place to you.

Love you! Take care.

So lovely and comforting. These piano noodles keeping us cozy in these cold months. Thank you.

Absolutely lovely. Really beautiful playing.
There is something so warm and comforting about a solo piano and some reverb.

This is beautiful heart

really lovely piano playing heart i love the photograph too, it looks like a cold stream or ice water, but I can't be quite sure

This is awesome, and that name is such a perfect fit. This is so lovely and vulnerable heart

Lovely melodies in this noodle.

0 people listened to this and thought "sloppy and chunky", though wink Really beautiful.

Beautiful playing heart

Oh man... first Tone Matrix noodle of the year... not gonna lie, I've been looking forward to it, and it does not disappoint.  Oh man and the section at ~3:32, such gravity.  Very nice sir.

very calming and comforting!

powerful. Feels a bit doomy in the beginning but ends on a lighter note. Much as wearing your heart on your sleeve can take you through painful experiences but also great beauty and when you keep doing it the heart grows stronger and ligher..

Your noodles are always so yummy.
- Valx

Trying to figure out if this is seafood yakisoba or pasta bolognese...actually I think it's fettucine alfredo. Love it.

You know we all love and and adore your noodles, always accepted and always appreciated.  This is the kind of music you feel better to after listening.

This is wonderful.  I love the transition at 3:30 where you break away from the rhythmic bass notes.  The outro where you jump up a couple octaves is a nice contrast too.

Sweet! Btw chunky and sloppy are two very nice qualities for noodles, if they are too perfect it only means they are mass produced... This has heart! Keep noodling!

I think I know what I'm going to have for dinner tonight.
Also this sounds great, and I like how you're basically singing thru your piano

That was very beautiful and relaxing, thank you ❤️

this is gorgeous heart

Always here for a piano noodle, and yours are always a delight. Fantastic stuff!

Lovely, melody brings ideas and inspiration, gazing afar.

excellent double entendre of a title regarding afib and your emotional transparency

this song is making me feel really lonely?  or it is triggering the current feeling of loneliness that i am not aware of

ACTUALLY this might be your best composition ever

okay also interesting that the heart is on "your" sleeve not "my" sleeve

Thank you all so much for taking the time to stop by and listen.  I appreciate all your kind words and I’m just so happy each week I get to come back and revisit all this new awesome music everyone is making.
It’s an honor to be a part of it all.

heart Thanks so much!  It’s usually a one take sorta improvisational thing.  Sometimes I’ll find a chord progression/melody I like and try to flesh it out a bit and sometimes it’s just a happy accident.
Ever since Ableton added the midi capture feature this opened up all the noodling to me.  Before that I used to struggle trying to get myself on a grid, figure out the time signature etc.  Now I just can play smile
