Your piano has a nice pleasing tone, there’s even what sounds like a slight wobble like it was recorded to Cassette. Really lovely melody!

Beautiful! Your piano works are always a pleasure. And side note, again, awesome stuff with those vocals last week. I’d say no need to be afraid to give em a shot going forward!

I agree the dissonance in those low notes is cool.  The chords are chill and pleasant and even gave me tiny little bit of Pyramid Song from Radiohead type of vibe.  Always nice to hear you just play your piano.

Beautiful and concise start to finish this is an exquisite composition. I feel your Reznor vibes but there is a strong spirit of Radiohead Pyramid Song channeled there, hitting me in all the soft places, this was amazing. Oof. The feels heart

wow this is amazing 1:10 jaw on floor.

this was evoking everything in it's right place for me in the best way

yet this is so tenderly, carfully a tone matrix track - not so ominous and intesne as radiohead or nin

though i do very much hope everything is feeling in it's right place in your body, mind, and spirit as you heal heart

This reminds me a lot of Radiohead.

Very pretty.

Take care! See you next week.

Yeah, this! Did write my comment before reading yours... smile

Oh many yeah, Neon nailed it... kindda feels like I discovered a hidden track 99 on NIN cd... but with a very "too be continued..." feel, like less a sign off and more an invitation to something new... a Cheshire invitation to a totally new rabbit hole.  Very nice noodle (as always)... I may actually pinch that progression too... it has a weird feeling of being complete... and yet unresolved at the same time.

i find so much comfort in your music, Wizard.
thank you

ps: tape warbs heart

Yes, exactly what I was thinking! I was trying to remember exactly what song it was and could only think that Thom Yorke was involved, hahahaha...
Yeah, this is super pretty, man. Also super happy to hear that the afib decided it didn't need to be in the spotlight and took a step back this week.

Yes, there is a pyramid. That’s so cool.

beautifully composed heart

piano sound is so crisp, NiN ghosts type of gorgeous!

great piano sound! very hypnotic and cool chord sequence

nice tone on the piano! calming piece. glad u are alright!

Mesmerizing piano tone indeed, but also very tasteful playing there. You've got a good feel for timing!

Beautiful! Wish I could play piano like this.

Haunting yet affirming.  Great job!

see others mention radiohead. that's what i thought of as well. i love radiohead and i love this.

Mmm. Yeah. Instant Pyramid Song vibes in all the best ways. Haunting and engaging. Also reminds me of the NIN Ghosts albums.

Sounds great. Very intimate yet with lots of tension inside... An apparently simple piece with lots of nuances smile

I agree on the Reznor comparison, or Radiohead's... yet this sounds your own IMHO

Emotional, soothing, I had to play it a few times just to get my fill of it.
Great stuff!

I love the steady emotional drive of this piece, it channels a strong emotional transformation within throughout its course.

I don't have the musical vocabulary I need but hopefully you'll understand - the sustain on the low notes when pressed hard seemed to ring out notes either side or something and sounded haunting and beautiful in equal measures.  I've always loved your noodles and this one resonated very strongly with me

I [love] this. The steady, rhythmic playing is so evocative, and I really like how you build out the voicings over the course of this. Hope you're having a better week this week heart

Absolutely gorgeous piano piece.

This creates a really cool atmosphere, very ominous and dark.  The low end sounds so rich too.

This feels like an intermission. A very well executed one, I really wish I had your piano skills. We should do a collab!

Been awhile since we get to hear one of these, just sit back close your eyes and take it in, wonderful stuff.

Yay, solo piano! Been looking forward to one.

This is lovely. Chord voicing is great - the first two chords gave me a Rhapsody in Blue feel. Quiet, slow development that expands delightfully, and then goes back to contemplation. Thank you smile

Ah, thanks for reminding me about the strange comfort of playing low tones on the piano, again and again like a robot. And also this song is beautiful.

A shorter but still very engaging one, I have to play it again! Loving the tone and feeling you've been working with this year. Glad the afib took a break!

Is teideal oiriúnach é. Galánta amach is amach, bhaineas a lán taitneamh as.

This starts out very gloomy, but soon catches a sort of an Elton John vibe. I enjoyed that opening up. There's optimism in it. Let's call it "stubborn optimism". And yeah, that's what we all need now.

That slowdown at the end is chef's kiss.

I am in love with this. I have Ghosts I-IV up on the wall-o-vinyl in front of my desk right now, and this is absolutely in that vibe. Incredibly beautiful.

To echo others, this definitely brings to mind Radiohead and NIN. Amazing in its simplicity, great job!

chord changes are really exciting and unexpected

Wow, those intro chords are just perfect. I like how brooding and ominous it sounds. I really like how this one develops around that core rhythmic motif. That was really pleasing to listen to. The warbly sound on the piano is perfect.

The tone of this is really unique and I love the dissonance at the beginning! Very cool!

I immediately want to sample this.

Awesome! Feel free to, I'd love to hear what you come up with smile

I love those intervals! And they way it resolves just makes me want to cry (in a good way). So much expressed with so few elements.
