Was messing around a bunch with the external instrument settings on the M8 and realized I can plug an electric guitar directly in and get a serviceable distorted tone out of it with enough tweaks (which will be sick for brainstorming on the go!)

In the midst of that, came up with the initial melody and ended up fleshing it out without any guitar in the final

Wasn't too thrilled with it until I found a nice synth sample to loop as some background noise (I usually leave track 7 for the "glue" like that) which is my favorite thing about this track

This feels so content and restful. Nice work! I especially like that theremin-like sound that's lurking in the background throughout.

the guitar trick is a neat idea, didn't think about that but saw they added an amp into OP-1 presumably for the same sort of simple noodling. this has a nice floaty vibe to it and I love when the lead feels like its bouncing / gliding away from you.

Relaxed but also dark and groovy. The pads, bassline, and crackles pull the piece to that moody place I prefer to occupy, so I dig smile

Late summer evening, when it's still gray vibes.

Dunno why but gives me a bit of Japan vibes

cool stuff big_smile
