Synthpop in the Rain

By gify on June 14, 2026 11:39 pm

Rainy day, so I got to procrastinate instead of doing all my chores (again) and make synthpop instead!

I ran my Behringer CAT through the 303's filter and used that as the starting point. I got a Behringer ADA8200 this week, which gave me 8 extra inputs, so I can route more synths into Bitwig at the same time. Got to use all the gear on my desk at the same time finally! big_smile

The downside is having extra unused inputs is probably bad for the GAS.... wink

I spent a lot of time trying to get the drums to sound nice and punchy. I think it turned out OK, but we'll see tomorrow when my ears have rested, lol. I probably should have spent more time making variations on the drum patterns and fills, which is something I need to get into a better habit of.

Anyways, enjoy the synthpop doots!

"SYYYYYYYYNTHPOP IN THE RAIN, JUST SYYYYYNTHPOP IN THE RAIN!  What a glorious feeling, I'm weeklybeating again!"

That CAT is pretty cool looking.  nice jam!  great tones.

Been raining here too. THis sounds great! Keep on keepin on.

This is some tune, has a nice vibe and a really beautiful balance. Such a joy.

How do you find the CAT? I got one some time ago as I loved the sound but have always found the interface obstructive, so unintentional avoid it. You seem to be across it here.
