Violets

This week was really slow going for me. I started three other ideas but none of them felt good to me. But Saturday afternoon I started fresh again, played around a bit and landed with this funky tune.
Still getting used to Logic, but I'm finding all these new tools that are really fun to mess with. Tried a lot of different stuff, especially with automation and glitchy sounds.
Ran out of time to master it properly, but I'm still happy with the result.

For this track I used my Hydrasynth, beats from the M8, my own vocal samples, and a bunch of stuff in Logic.

Beautiful track for a beautiful image. heart Love the liquidy gloss the reverb gives various elements of the track. Awesome stuff!

I will forever be curious about your other ideas that you ended up with this one

That glitched vocal and arp are delicious. Not overdone, just right!

The track is a bop, period. No notes. 5 stars.

got me movin' with this one. love the section that starts at 01:25, so much ear candy scattered throughout.

This super takes off at that 01:25 mark with the super shreddy synth. Lot of cool glitchy bass sounds too.

I really love the grove of the drums in this track, all the transitions are fantastic, great build up of energy that is always paid off... yet another banger.

Groovy base. The vocal textures around 1:20 are such an audiohug. The hug becomes awkward as I start dancing as it keeps ramping up. Lovely reverb dillution outro. Two thumbs up!

the glitching is really well done, great track!

Love the mixture of normal tones and super crushed, crunchy bits. So fun. And the arp! Favorited it’s just so fun
