Happy Week 51! ONE MORE WEEK.
I have really surprised myself keeping up with this challenge and I'm looking to surprise myself again with a new WB related venture.

I'm starting a podcast/radio show called "Chasing The Beats" and I'll be reaching out to my fellow weekly beats participants over the next year for a quick interview about your creative process, weekly beats experience, gear you use etc and play a handful of your songs from the year.

There's so much music I know we all have trouble keeping up with listening, commenting and reading comments. The podcast will be a way for you to catch up with all the other artists and amazing works and stories during the official WB off-season.

This is such a great community and I'm really thankful to have shared this experience with you all over the past year.

Be on the lookout on email and discord!

---- Now for the song ----
I did a lot of FM sound design this week on the m8 and like how it turned out.

I had lots of pieces parts that took me a while to flow them together.
There were some parts that I couldn't let go of so I just had to make them fit.

I think I did a good job of making it feel like interesting unexpected turns rather than a bunch of parts jammed together.

So I hope it leaves you feeling more WOW than WUT lol

Cheers to one more week to go!

The sound that starts the track, it really reminds me of Streets of Rage! heart
With all those different parts together, I feel like it turned into a very dynamic track.
Great one, as usual!
Looking forward to hear some stories from fellow WB'ers!

Yeah! So heavy and beasty! And those harmonies and melody lines are so intriguing ... they really catch me ear. Really nice work, as always! wink

Sounds energetic and joyful and full of life.  It's the kind of thing that makes you feel like you can go out and conquer the world.  When you get your podcast up and running be sure to include a link on your profile to make it easier to find!

thiccness. podcast sounds sick once everybody has recovered from this grind lol.

Holy crap, this goes HARD right out of the gate. Really like the grindy leads and crispy drums. Great job moving into different themes through the piece and keeping it moving. Awesome sound design and energy!

Also: hell yeah on the podcast! Looking forward to it.

yes yes yes! to all of it  heart

what if it left me feeling...
WUTWOW?
or maybe
WOWWUT

crunchy tasty nasty beats, i'm in!

As soon as I hit play I immediately thought "damn, this sounds like SQF so hard". Groovy, funky and SO DAMN COOL!!!! This is awesome.

As for the podcast: HOLY SHIT YES!!! That's such an amazing idea!!! I'd love to have an excuse to continue interacting with folks throughout the year, I think a podcast like that would be an awesome way to do it. Super excited to hear what you make!!!!

Do you already have an intro jingle figured out? If not, that sounds like a worthy project for week 52!

Spooky castlevania-like sounds. Very catchy and dynamic. I enjoyed that!

Sign me the fuck up.

Also, cool song. A good reflection of the darkness outside (though not of the Christmas time).

Dig the spooky vibe. L0ts going on here! Nice job keeping things interesting all the way through. Really nice moments of tension, and that harsh synth really drives everything forward!

Oh yais that opening synth line is addictive and sinister!  Cuts so nicely thru the powerful drums.  The higher octave synths explore the mystery of the bassline and take it into excellent feels.  Impossible not to head nod, toe tap and finger drum along.  The podcast idea sounds awesome.  I def know I've been missing out on some good music with the sheer amount/variety of artists/musicians we have on here.

this song is a statement!  not sure of what exactly, but it sounds badass. smile

looking forward to the podcast, don't forget to interview yourself somehow.  i'd love to hear how you made all these niice songs this year in addition to you interviewing others.
