if it weren't for the wind - W8

Really wanted to rally for a video today but we'll settle for a song, how about that?

Another Digitakt project that I've been kicking around for a bit and it's nice consider it done!
Some similar elements to my last one as one project file seems to morph into so many different directions.

For a few sections I'm using a combination of sub37/gs music e7/roland s1/perfourmer all as one big choir.
I'm using my new MIDI routing app https://midiffract.app/ to direct a single midi track on the Digitakt to all my outboard gear and setting independent octave shifts for each device.

Video content soon on the app!

Thanks again everyone for the comments, I have some catching up to do this week!!

I like how different sounds enter at different points.  It creates a sense of buildup.  The guitar sounds awesome in there also.

That feeling when the wind blows your picnic snacks away. 😓 Awesome track though!

I fell like I always say how much I love your sound design and instrumentation, but I do, and it's you fault for doing it so well every week! So much variety! And the guitar is the 🍒 on top.

Come ON!!!! Even I did upload a video!

I am here for the track, and it is a very nice sounding one. And almost 6 mins!

That deep bass is fire.

The "slow" electric guitar is super cool, I like the distortion - delay. Sounds great.

oh hell yes. what a vibe, what a groove. so killer!
i'll have to send you this little vocal hook i was singing to this

hell yais what a vibe with that thick low bass tone and the drums.  Had me swayin from the opening beat.  Slick lead lines that bounce around the drums.  Oooh those synths at 2:41 sooo good! Love how the wobble turns into a guitar solo \m/ Ooooh those chords at the end are awesome too! I def can hear some jwh on this!

I like that low bass drone. It is barely noticeable but adds to the sound texture. Great choice of drum sounds, they work perfectly as a backdrop to the rest of the sounds.
I like the incorporation of solos into the track! This is electronic but has a structure closer to a rock track.

This is definitely an entire adventure

I've been wanting to do video all year, but not yet. Songs are what we're here for really yeah. Love this chill vibe and sounds you're getting here. Nice melody. Humming along.

feels like an awesome interlude for a Justice album, especially towards the end. agree with @kedbreak136 about how it's closer to a rock track - very electro

decided to sample this through derivative license for this week's track: https://weeklybeats.com/eoe.vibin/music/theology

Those melancholic melodies build up to something powerful. And then came this suffering guitar. Pure pain. Very well done sir.
