Thorough Investigation (WB36)

Slowed down the tempo and used the same set of instruments as last week using the Suzuki Andes 25F Whistletar for the melody!

Spent about 1 and a half hours building the backing track drawing midi patterns for bass, drums, accompaniment and recording a basic structure. Spent about 40 minutes messing around trying to come up with something on the Whistletar. Took about 20 minutes to record 3 takes of melody and a bit of chords. Spent about an hour chopping and mixing the whistle parts to make a nice sound. 30 more minutes adjusting fx and volumes. Decided I didnt like the 4 on the floor based kick pattern I had so I spent 20 minutes rewriting and recording it back in. Another 40 minutes writing in filters and adjusting the intro and outros. 10 minutes adjusting master track and done! Total work time about 5 hours 10 minutes!

Loving these whistle-centric tracks lately! Neat melodies too.

Nice and chill. Whistling in reggae.
