FINALLY! While work is definitely not normal, I've got my evenings and weekends back for the most part. I also took this past Friday off as a vacation day (since I'm maxed out) and have a 4-day weekend, which is mostly all focused on art and music. Friday was just relaxing, so I wrote this track on Saturday. I'm hoping the following day is work across 3 different projects: a remix, a 3-way collab, and rescoring a render of february's performance. Oh right, and I gotta get back to mastering that LP!

This track needs a lot more work, there's not a huge amount of variation on the gnarly lead, but it's thick and menacing and I know a lot of things I already want to do to it. I may shift the progression a little, but I really dig the breakdown. But yeah, lotsa work to bring it to where I want it to go. Nevertheless, definitely going on a future EP which will focus pretty much on midtempo dark techno (100-110bpm range). Hell yeah.
