Went for another upbeat rocker, but this time when I tried to add vocals I just could not make them work. So instead I did some talky thing and it kinda works? Let me know. Enjoy! smile

Love the bass with acoustic guitars there. Not sure about that guitar-synth burried in reverbs? Song might be more focus if dialed down a bit but super cool anyway. But yeah those spoken "nonchalant" vocals are working super good.

The song is absolutely fantastic. I love the shoegaze guitars and the spoken words work very well. This was a good move. Nowadays we do not hear such music anymore. It reminded me of the 80ies. And a big applause for the drumming.
Really a great track.

The spoken word parts actually work really well with this and the music provides a nice catchy upbeat backing to it.

The spoken vocals work great. The calmness of the speech against the motion of the music suggests a retrospective mood. And yeah, a road trip song. So the GIF fits well, too.

This is so cool. Love the way the crisp acoustic elements compliment the washy electronic ones, and the spoken word part adds some really cool rhythmic tension. Well done! big_smile

This is really great and well produced, love the little fills and the guitars, everything sounds really glued together in the mix

Damn, that was great. Your talking vocals paired with the instrumental worked perfectly - great mix and vocal treatment. Such flavors of 90s college rock, awesome. Another favorite.

Sodabelly!! this is an absolute gem. i think the spoken word is perfect for this one. the vocal brings to mind some of the earlier Sonic Youth stuff for me (although the instrumental elements aren't so much in that vein). and the mix is really strong!
i'll be revisiting this one for sure  heart

Reminds me of Casiotone for the Painfully Alone and Drone Dimension. Well fitting combination.
