Last weekend I went to a concert performed by the local symphony orchestra and it was a wonderful experience. It also sparked some inspiration for this weeks submission.
I've worked on three different compositions/sketches this week and finally landed on finishing and posting this one. In the first one I sat down and read a bit about how to voice the strings in an orchestra, in the third one I focused mainly on creating a nice sounding choir (who doesn't love an orchestra accompanied by a choir?). This one, the second one, is kind of a shorter composition implementing some of the parts I've focused on in the other sketches over notes I more or less randomly played a couple times on a my keyboard. Somehow they fit well together.
There is very little in terms of effects going on here, some reverb and a bit of EQ-ing on the master. The rest is pretty much only raw BBC Symphony orchestra VST.
Might revisit the other ideas and in the future, we'll see.
