Part 4 of the deep-house-one-night-stand-in-space series. Once again, composed on the M8, mix and master in Ableton (plus some claps this time). Part 5 (last part) next week barring disaster, and I'll be working on refining these tracks and a few others for a deep house EP.

These are cheese tracks but they got groove and some ear candy so I'm happy with them.

Thank you to everyone that tuned in to Cabin Radio for The Doppler Effect show - I was overwhelmed, they played five of my tracks, three from The Pulsar Suite and the whole of The Message (plus bonus track). It was surreal and amazing to hear my work on the radio.

The rest of that night went terribly, I'm afraid - I will spare the details, but I got home from the emergency vet at 5am and it has been a sad week since.

On happier news - thanks to everyone that gave snow for europa a listen, and much thanks if you purchased the EP, I really hope you enjoy it. If you haven't checked it out yet, be sure to give it a listen - some of the tracks are from WB this year, but much improved, remixed and mastered for the EP. There is also a long continuous mix of the full EP with dialogue as an added bonus.

Yes, I am exclusively available on Bandcamp - like a lot of artists on Weekly Beats - for a lot of reasons, the least among which is the moral and ethical minefield that is many streaming services these days (especially Spotify). But moreso, Bandcamp really supports their artists - a simple numbers game to illustrate: if you buy Snow for Europa for $9 CAD, you've effectively paid me what Spotify would pay me for 3000 streams. Considering in the whole of my career on Bandcamp I've had less than 700 streams, that's a big deal.

Also - my radio spot last week, the host, Cody, discovered me on Bandcamp almost entirely at random just looking for space music. That's more "discoverability" than I have ever had on any social media platform, ever.

In short: Bandcamp is awesome. Support your Bandcamp musician friends.

Alright this is more than I thought I'd be able to type and articulate today. Part 5 of House next week, then I think we are moving on to some acid techno and cyber-ambient stuff - next major collection gonna be called "Night City" for the obvious references and I think it'll be awesome.

heart all of you. Hug your furballs for me.

Ooof goodness the kick immediately yikes moving air!  hypnotic synth groove and excellent effect with the vocals and those lil sweeps and delays.  Congrats on Cabin Radio it was an awesome presentation to listen to but so sorry to hear about the emergency at the vet. I hope things get better this week. Hugs from me & the furballs down here heart

The blood moon must have created drama this week. Wifey came home with a tire puncture I had to remove and patch in the rain.

+1 for Bandcamp crew. Will check out the EP. I have been meaning to catch up on my wishlist there.

The bass in this one is a ripper. Nice work!

hell yes, my Friend. love how this track patiently unwinds. i wanna hear this super loud in a warehouse someday.

was really badass to hear you on the Cabin Radio broadcast. i hate that your night took a turn after that.
hugs from us to you & yours heart

snow for europa is SO GOOD

GAAAAAH THAT BASS.

This series has been amazing, looking forward to the EP. Vocal drops are FANTASTIC, they continue to be a standout. Love the raw sensuality on these tracks. Such a cohesive whole, you’re so good at this.

(Also reminded MsDrFrog that we have a Nasty track due at the end of April. Plans are afoot.)

Congrats on the radio show and the new album!
Love the beat and the way it shifts

great track bro ! really like the smooth kick and the perc is spot on!!! nicely crafted!!! well done

Sorry to hear you've got vet problems. I'm hoping for the best for you and your little furry loved one.

I still have to do a lot of catch up regarding your stuff. Kudos for the Bandcamp support. It is nice to hear a positive experience. I was much more involved in Soundcloud many years ago but now the platform has become bots and "pay to stream" IMHO. Would love to hear your opinion if I'm mistaken smile

Excellent deep house track. Loving the voice sample (is it from a movie?).

The "hard hats" house part at around the four minutes mark is excellent. Very very energetic, perfect for a sunny day set or the start of the night.

I hear ya, been on bandcamp since day 1, kinda helped shape some of the features because they really listened to feedback... pushed a lot of chiptune artists to adopt it haha

I am super sorry about the vet stuff, even more so to bring it back to memory after quite a few weeks

Will drop the radio for the summer but I'll try and play the new tracks before I do... next step is me doing a pilot on twitch (play live on twitch, broadcast redifusion on FM)

Really like this track and the previous ones I have played!
