Seabass

I tried something new this week. Threw together a quick and dirty sketch - didn't like it much at all, but I am bad at scrapping projects so I saved it anyway.  Went back a few days later and built upon it. Now I like it.

The sub bass slamming heaviness while the melody shining bright through with the vocal clips. Awesome combos. Always nice to revisit an old project and finish it. Good song.

Fucking sick drums, man, break that shit! Really cool contrast between the harsh, fast-paced beat and the more abstract melodic elements.

Also, give us the full slow-down remix that you kinda outro with!!
It went so hard!

Awesome sketch! Digging the pad selection and the overall mysterious vibe. big_smile

Sure does. Thanks for the feedback Franky!

Sometimes you just feel like... breaking a bit. Slow down remix could be cool, I'll add that to the DELUXE EDITION.

Thanks a lot Capy! (Am I allowed to call you "Capy"?)

Really really enjoyed this. The drum breaks are great, and that trance-gate-esque lead too!! Also, when the drums pitch down at the end - oooooof! Great!
I think it's great that you were able to come back to an idea that you weren't keen on and turn it into something you like! I think it is a good skill to be patient with an idea and stick at it - one that I am still working on.

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it. Thanks for listening and commenting!

And I agree with you. I need to work on that as well as I usually am pretty bad at committing and finalizing something I don't really feel straight away.

This is really dope! heart section around 3mins with the fast arps. Also really digging the contrast with of softer melodic elements with the slammin' bass

like floating in good vibes
