Are the mallets synthesized or acoustic? I love them either way, and I love the bass guitar tone. Great job!

Thanks, the mallets are Pianoteq 8, which is a fancy modeling plugin so I guess you can call it synthesized but not in the traditional sense. The bass is Ample Sound Ample Bass P II Lite, which is a free electric bass plugin.
I'm basically trying also to keep the hard drive footprint of this effort under control by using MIDI and plugins and not recording enormous stems.
Also a real vibraphone is like super expensive and I don't have room for that and the required mics and all.

Oh for sure! I wanted a xylophone for years as a kid, but they were way too expensive for my fault. It sounds very realistic, though!
