IMPENDING

Crazy week again this week. My daughter had a piano recital at a local university this afternoon. Realising that I was not going to have any time to make any music before the deadline, I ducked into one of the piano practice room and recorded this little noodle. This was the second take, recorded on my phone sitting on the piano bench beside me, passed into the M8 when I got home, with a bit of shimmer reverb, 15 minutes later, here I am uploading it with 5 minutes to spare... fun times. Probably my best quality to effort ratio song in a while, maybe ever, lol.

Thanks to everyone who has been commenting on my songs. Life is crazy for me at the moment but I do want to be more active in my participation on here ... just need to get some life stuff dealt with first. I'm doing my best and I am trying to be satisfied with that.

covert recital recording, love it! and nice noodles, too!

It sounds really good for the source recording coming from a phone.  A nice peaceful and soothing noodle as well.

Secret piano beats is a new genre.
Lovely playing, and the phone + reverb has a great vibe.

I hope more people have "had to make a beat in X so hid in Y to finish" story this year big_smile

Really cool noodle with an awesome story! The lo-fi recording of an imperfect piano gives it a "should I be hearing this hidden sound?" vibe.

Love the bass guiding the higher exploring melody and gosh does this make me miss playing in a practice room almost 30 years ago yikes  heart

Wow. And I thought this was lovely with just the music. Fantastic story, and the fact that this is a live performance. Lovely. Dark and melancholy, absolutely beautiful. Favorited.

I'm proud of you for this right here, my friend.
And I'll be super honest: your best sounds really friggin' good!!! Even this tune, which you said was the 2nd take of a hastily thrown together as a noodle, is really, REALLY, pretty!!! I'm very impressed with your ability on the keys, srsly.
Nicely done, man. Keep 'em comin', no matter how simple you perceive them to be. There will be folks here eagerly waiting to her the next PeterM drop heart
Peace, dude!!!

Lovely. Really could not ask for more squeezing between such a busy schedule.

Beautiful. Just beautiful.
