oh hell yeah, what a great video and soundscape. Love what you do OD!
I agree with Raja, you are a magical being who manipulates the space time continuum! This is the piano piece I didn't know I needed until tonight. My anxiety level is quelled after that lil escape.
+1000 Piano
Just enchanting.
Beautifully done.
Can I hire you to build a capybara castle for capybaras to live in? Asking for a capybar- I mean, uh, friend.
well now we are even, cuz that gave me a sad.
BUT
also an inspired.
such tender music, and the video was so creative and GOOD
thank you ![]()
It took me a minute to understand what was going on in the video. Wait, why is Frank at the board and waving goodbye to us? We haven't heard the song yet! Where is the song? My patience was rewarded though and then I got a smile on my face once I was like Ohhhhhhh. Dug the dreamy vibe of the music as well.
The video is amazing! I'm always impressed with your diy approach.
so engaging for such a simple vid
like, the initial realization it's reverse, then seeing a tower form from the swept pile, then the question of if we're gonna see the reversed build of it, but also the question of wait who's moving the camera, but then the reveal of the cable management of it. just a cool watch.
What a video, man!
Beautiful song too. But it felt like the video was the real hero on this, with the music as a score.
The ping pong balls starting to bounce around on the floor looked like there was some kind of earth quake happening.
Like someone said before. Love your DIY approach to making videos. You have such engaging ideas. And it's inspiring to see you execute them with zero budget.
Beautiful stuff!
really lovely piece of music, the video worked so well
love ur lil reverse world 🌷
Nice track! Gald to see you're still doing the videos too! Awesome vibe!
Lovely song I want to close my eyes ... and remember what I have forgotten. Or just forget what I remember. Either works.
But can't close my eyes because video! The backwards thing always delivers. Love it. Rewarding and fun. Thanks!
Damn... I love this so much. The concept of the video is so so simple but executed so well. The moment close to the end when you gaze directly into the camera is... meaningful. And the music is beautiful too. Sad reverb filled pianos will always be a shortcut to my heart. One of many, hahahaha... Great work, man, srsly!
Brilliant video! Simple idea but so well executed! Not sure if each element carries many subtle meanings or it's more in the line of wouldn't it be cool to _____? Or why not both haha
Piano is nice too, might be my fav instrument
Love the track, and I'm amazed by how you crank out these awesome, creative videos every week!
Functions like those miniature pieces on Music Has The Right To Children, but is better than all of them. I guess something’s in the air—been listening to WB offerings and you and I both went with gentler pianos, JWH and noise sang a song about Jesus, and Emily dictated a heart beat’s pace this week, non-negotiably.
All that to say this is really beautiful. ![]()
Geez WB community trying to destroy me this week. I got HoolieBrown's "Brass for Blood" followed immediately by freezedream's "Liminal" and now this. My heart is broken and at the same time filled with beauty? How??
Also - that video is genius.
WOW! I love you were able to construct this tender song and video! That piano is sweeping and dreamy.
We are so fortunate to have you on here, the music just pulled at my emotions, I could listen to that on repeat over and over, but then you also give us this video, so freaking good! The close up of your face, I've said it in the past, you have the best "Madvillainy album cover stare".
This better not be about 9/11. Wait, what?
Love the chillness and backwardsness, very cool idea.
Working through my backlog here! Whoa, man, this is my kind of piano shit right there at the beginning. Love it! And the other sounds you build on top are an excellent fit, all glued together very effectively. Including this sprinkle of distortion for a tiny bit. I'll even forgive the fadeout as I agree with other commenters here that this piece works great as an interlude/miniature kind of track.
Excellent!
