Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting December 29th 2025 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Holy wow, this was great. The start was wonderfully unexpected, and it kept taking rhythmic twists and turns I loved. And then finally, secret instrument surprise. Everything I wanted. Instant classic.

Oh my god this is amazing. Aggression and finesse. Live kit sounds amazing, and that trumpet is just a cherry on top. Great guitar tone and mix, too. I want an album like this.

Hell yes! I felt that scream! I knew I was gonna love this when I heard you were working on it. Embodies the full range of emotions a lot of us having been feeling. The drum breaks in between each section are so good. The trumpet line is the icing on the cake. In 4 days!? Dude! You rock and inspire always!

For someone who is ostensibly speaking negatively about advertising you put a lot of the marketing blurbs to work here! Catch them in the first second with shock/interest, retain them and click through to the next section rapidly and deliver a message effectively and provide a value add (with the trumpet) to reward people for sticking through 8D

For me this is an example of the whole being more than the sum of the individual parts. The trumpet solo at the end is the perfect conclusion. It's as if we were going at light speed through the trauma stages - Anger, depression, acceptance. A lot to say just about the audio. I loved the bass sound - great round sound and perfect mix. The drums section at 1:43 where you have the tail of the scream sampled and repeating against the drums is just great.
The video adds a whole new layer. I like the creative angles, lighting. The framing of the trumpet solo is great. It might sound silly but you wiping the sweat at 2:30 was one of the genuine moments that I like the most - where it's rea; and spontaneous.
Great track and great video! I am looking forward to hearing and watching more this year!
Fucking ace as always. Love the vocals, and guitar tone a lot. The first section hits you in the balls and then ugh I love this outro section man. almost a surfy ode to a lost time in a ballad format. Gotta show me the riff to that one man. I just love your music man. Can't wait to hear more.

Daaaaaaang Orange Drink, what a kickass start to the new year! The screemo intro caught me off guard (shouldn't have though, you've always nailed that in the past), and that outro is like a love letter to classic elements of your trademark sound. And that intro chord prog on guitar is gorgeous!

It was a little scratchy, but good. I did vocal warmups before, and didn’t have to do a ton of takes. My bandmates want to play this live and I have no idea if I could do that! You know I had to do a little time signature thing as a result of my ViridianLoom (and Bag) influence!

basically the only reason to do videos is to get your feedback. thank you - i never thought about the stages of grief in the song but it is spot on. the trumpet is acceptance, with the hum of feedback coming in at the end. glad you liked the sweat wipe- you can see me sweaty on the couch at the end.
